The Hard Drive thing sounds great but won't this give pirates a chance to attack the console market (with even more force than it use to) now? It'll be great to actually play Mass Effect without it's buggyness but if we can install the game and then put in a No CD Crack then expect SecuROM on Console games now -_-

As for Web Browsing, you'll need KB&M support in order not to get frustrated with the consoles "T9 word" function. The Wii's is ok since it's an accurate pointer but it's still not as good as a keyboard.
Yh the Hdd thing could cause piracy problems i see what you mean. but apparently loading is 30% faster.
They're avoiding the piracy problem by requiring the disk to still be in the tray when you play it (it just won't be spinning).
What about no CD Cracks? Will games come with CD Keys now?

Also, if there's going to be a web browser, they should have it available in-game, that's probably why it's so useful on the PS3 (assuming it is working). "OH MY GOD I am getting my ass kicked!" *presses PS button, goes to gameFAQs.*

Why would the 360, hell any console need a web browser?

Personally, i don't see why some 360 owners want a web browser, I almost NEVER use my PS3 Browser and the times i do (NOT for porn) it's extremely slow and too small to read anyway.

The Wii browser is the same, but a bit smoother.

It's just another way to hide your porn, why do 360 really need a web browser?

Is it just me or do a couple of those things (not all of them) seem to already be on the PS3?

SEE! Sony isn't the only one who "copies" ideas from other companies.

You answered your own question really.

Arab It would own hard if you could browse while in a game alas this is not possible on the PS3.

Mine must have sold it's soul to the devil because I used that "quick search" thing on the in-game XMB (after the update) and it worked.

Maybe I have a faulty memory, I'm going to go retry and see if it asks me if it wants to kick me out or not.

Id like a small browser built into one of the blades when you press the xbox guide button, nothing fancy even a basic text only browser. With the idea being that when I get stuck in a game I could press the guide button and search for a solution without having to exit the game like the way wii/ps3 is or have to boot up my laptop

First thing I'm doing is loading Fable 2 and Halo 3 on the hard drive.
Yet they complain about stole games, fot that whole thing to work it will need to distroy the disk. Not for me.

I personally use it when my computers monthly internet usage has been used, so I can use my familys wireless and then blame my brother. But thats just me.

Way I see, when they allow it to be used while a game is running, so you can look up FAQs and such, then it'll be a boon to a lot of us. Until then, its just a cool feature.

Oh, and I shouldn't gloat, but it seems that that "adding huge quantities of memory for a price of lower than a dollar per 2 Gigs" feature of the Ps3 is looking rather good now, isn't it?
I always knew replacing my hard drive with a WD 7200 RPM 250 gig harddrive was a good idea.

I see no web browser didnt anyone request this?
Oh bout the hardrive thing with games being about 8gb what happends to 20gb users lol.
Nobody has really been clamoring for the option to web browse on the 360. Almost everybody has a PC for that, text on the web is hard to read on a screen if you don't have an HD TV, can't download most stuff, can't post things, etc.

It's a pointless feature.
Ahh come on...I read and posted in a bunch of online communities and did my emails with my Dreamcast-8 years ago! and watch youtube with my Wii. Sure-console webbrowsers are not ment to download, print or create stuff from/on the internet but If you are just into reading, posting and surfing they are quite fine :)

The ps3 comes with a guide as to how to replace it. Or, if you're not confident in your technical abilities, you can rig up an External hard-drive - it'll cost you a usb port, but you can jack it up to 500 Gigabytes.
I'm surprised you didn't recommend making the PS3 all uber-l33t with a pimping solid state drive.

I'm just saying that the 360 telling users to download a discs content onto their hard drive, while only they can make and sell the additional memory users will require seems just a tad....well....unscrupulous.
Notice the OPTION to do so you DON'T HAVE to unlike the lovely 25 min DMC4 install on PS3 that is forced on you.
