New Years Eve/Day Plans!

Going out with a friend to see the fireworks.
Or at least I would be if she ever got round to asking her parents.
I remind her every time we talk and she still hasn't gotten round to it.
Nothing.

Okay, you can't seriously be doing nothing, can you?
Everyone has to do something!
Its a law... Or something...

She cancelled, I have no plans.

It wasn't her bailing, it was her promising she'd be able to come, asking her parents after making that promise, and being told no.
I'm not pissed at her, I just don't have any plans for New Years now. I'll probably go up to the usual family friend's party, play DS in lieu of socialising, eat dinner there and then walk home to read/play games/chat on MSN.

New Years Eve: Donate blood, go for a walk, see if I can hang out with some friends who I haven't hung out with for months and play some Brawl/walk around town/do whatever. Then again, the hanging out with friends part is unlikely, seeing as how they'll most likely be at some party hosted by someone I don't know.

New Years Day: Pretty much the same, minus the donating blood part of course. Throw in some situps, pushups, and running as well, assuming the weather's good for it.

I'll spend New Years Eve doing nothing, haha. Nothing to do in my town, I'm not even joking. During the day, I'll probably be doing the same as I'm doing right now (listening to music, goofing on the internet and chatting to people on Xbox Live). At night, my nan and grandad will probably come round and we'll all eat and get fat. Seeing as my boyfriend's still in California over New Year's, I'll probably phone him when it's 2009 here and laugh at him being stuck in 2008.
New Year's Day will be pretty much the same as New Years Eve minus the whole 'watching Big Ben on the telly waiting for 2009' kaboosh.

New years Day: Drink whiskey 'till evening.
