News: Madden 25 Cover Vote is complete

Hello to the five of you here that actually care about Madden!

As some of you may or may not know, I am a big Madden fan and as a Minnesotan, I am required to be a Minnesota Vikings fan by law. Therefore, I was very excited that we might actually get to see Purple and Gold on the Madden 25 cover this year as Adrian Peterson went up against Barry Sanders in a fight to the death popular vote contest to determine who would grace the cover!

And the winner is.......

BARRY SANDERS

...damn. The Vikings can't even win this! Mr. Sanders won the popular vote 58% to 42%, a difference of over 700,000 votes.

Well, at least he is retired so he can't get injured out of the season or end up failing miserably.

Still, he should be concerned that a bus may run him over or a jet engine could smash through the roof over his bed while he sleeps.

The Madden cover is a diabolical curse from hell. I always vote for players I dislike for that very reason.

You know...I've never believed in the Madden curse but if Barry Sanders gets hit by a jet engine this year, I'll take that as proof that it's real and petition EA to stop putting people on the cover

This is why they should've put Mark Sanchez on the cover. Sanchez is already trash by anyone's standards & him + EA Curse = instant win for the Jets. Jets would put in Tim Tebow aka NY's best chance at some sort of redemption.

Either that or the Jets would become so bad that an actual black hole of badness would be created in the stadium and destroy the entire upper east coast
