What are the next 5 games you will buy new? Not necessarily $60 or more. Amazon just had a PC download sale of Doom for $30 and I almost grabbed it. So, bargains count too,

I kinda almost worry that the industry is flooding. I have more games from humblebundle.com than I'll ever have time to play. Even so, I know there are some I'll want, particularly when the price is right.

I just got a DX 12 card and am itching to play:
Battlefield 1
Deus Ex
Forza Horizen 3
but also want
Uncharted 3
and Doom.

Dang. Gonna cost me a fortune even at bargain prices. My wife is going to kill me.

You?

Dynasty Warriors 9
Elder Scrolls 6
Mount & Blade: Bannerlord
Pokemon (possibly Sun)
Dishonored 2

(No particular order, especially since 2 of them arent even announced beyond "They will likely come out eventually")

I dont buy new very often anymore.

And if you dont like TES6 cause it might be years, then maybe Civ 6 or Shadow Warrior 2.

The only game I KNOW I'm buying next is going to be XCOM 2.

One of the benefits of being a cheap ass is that I never know what I'm going to get next! What will be on sale this week?!?! Garbage? An indie darling? A huge AAA bucket of awesome? The possibilities are endless!!!

Persona 5
Mass Effect Andromeda
Final Fantasy XV
Dishonored 2
Maybe Titanfall 2

Every time I get asked a question along these lines I get kinda depressed how my answer is always just squeals.

I want that too, as long as it is not online and has a large modding community. Without mods: killin me. With them: 150 hours spent. Sure I lost some of my life, but it was so worth it.

Part of why I adore HumbleBundle. I often get 4-5 games for a buck. Even if I play only the intro, it was worth it.

My other issue: me and my boy share PS+ and Gold. Between the 360, XB1, PS3, PS4 and Vita, we're deluged. And I still have Wii, Gamecube, WiiU and PS2 games around. I hope I'm not allowed to die till I finish them all. I'll be around forever.

Sequels get too much hate for the wrong reasons. I love Dynasty Warriors, because its a reliable series. I got Dishonored 1 on a whim. Im getting 2 because that whim paid off.

People complain about sequels being too much the same, and yet the biggest complaints and reasons for a sequel's failure is when it is too different. If I wanted a different game, Id get a different game. I get sequels, cause I liked what I got, and I want more.

I'm not complaining at sequels, I love sequels as I have an idea of what I'm in for when I buy. I'm complaining at the lack of cool new games, there is nothing I can think of that is coming out that isn't a sequel. I'm depressed at the lack of original new stuff, not just in games but in most media.

That said I just thought of another to add to my list, Nioh, though to be honest that is almost just a Dark Souls sequel from what I played of the demo.

I dont like mods, but I love TES. I dont know what you mean by online though. I dont think you need to worry about competitive multiplayer being added ever. I do wish I could just have one co-op partner to adventure with. Just one.

I guess. Im pretty content with it though. When I think of games I want, its usually just sequels. At most, its sequels to games that died off that I think deserve to stick around.

But I also play alot of old games I missed. Thats where most of what is "new" for me comes from. Otherwise I either wait for them to not be new anymore, or my brother buys it on Xbox One.

In a similar line of thought I'm considering buying an Xbox 360 just to play old games that I missed, mostly Halo as I played Halo 1 & 2 on the PC and played bits of Halo 3 with a friend but I'd like to continue the story properly.

Do you not have an Xbox One? Cause if you got one, Id just get the Master Chief Collection. But only play Halo 2 on Legendary if you want to create an unbreakable bond...or lose your friend forever, cause fuck damn, my friend and I did it, and we got war stories now. Plus there is no 360 Halo 2, so unless you do split-screen using an Xbox Original copy, you cannot play it.

I got a PS4. I considered an Xbone for the Master Chief Collection and my first thought when it was announced that Xbone games were going to PC was I wonder if that means I can play the Master Chief Collection, but in the end I think that because of how cheap Xbox 360s are these days it may just be worth getting a 360 and I'm sure there will be other games for the 360 that I will want to try too.

Ha ha, yes! So glad I'm not the only one looking forward to that game! Sad to hear it's been delayed until November though.

Otherwise...Battlefield 1, assuming the campaign is okay.
Infinite Warfare, although if this campaign is boring like the last three games, this will be my last Call of Duty Game.
Does Darkest Dungeon count? It's finally coming to consoles this month.
The Last Guardian--assuming it actually comes out on the 25th of next month.

And...that's it. There are other games I'm aware of (Kingdom Hearts III, for example), but they don't have a solid release date yet, so I don't count them.

Assuming of course I'm able to get them when they're "new".

Dead Rising 4
Gears 4
XCOM 2 (when it comes to consoles)
Halo Wars 2

and...? I do want to get "Mafia III" as soon as I can, but it comes out so close to "Gears 4", the "Dark Souls III" DLC and the last "Black Ops III" DLC, and I'm not sure what of those I'll be able to get.

Forgot about Dead Rising 4. Mostly cause Im waiting to play Dead Rising 1 again on Steam. Definitely getting 4 new so I can co-op with friends.

I've currently got very little on my 'to get' list, as most of my spending in recent times has been on stuff like family gifts (e.g. Father's Day just came round, my dad's birthday is later in the month), and general spending on other amenities/requirements. So none of this is set in stone. However, while I did pre-purchase the entirety of Nova Covert Ops (so therefore NCO pt. 3 could count, maybe), if I had to guess about my next five purchases, they'd be:

-Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
-Doom
-Mass Effect: Andromeda
-Gears of War 4
-Halo Wars 2

But I'm not really counting on getting them anytime soon. Not playing games much these days (most of my 'electronic time' is in watching TV shows right now), and what games I do purchase end up on a backlog, and tend to be from previous console generations.

- Star Ocean: Faithfulness and whatever
- #FE - Tokyo Mirage Sessions
- Persona 5

Thats probably it. I'm not really as big into vidya games these days. Most of my money goes to toy soldiers.
