X-Men Origins: Gambit
I will stay at the cinema to watch that for as long as the human body can tolerate it and the police are asked to "have a word" with me.

Pretty sure Iron Man 3 is next considering it's already filming.

But if you mean the next one to introduce a new character -- or perhaps reboot one -- I'm still wanting a new Daredevil.
Marvel Studios don't have the rights to Daredevil.

Daredevil is unfortuntely still not with Marvel. However, there is a reboot/sequel slowly coming along.
Who said anything about it being made by Marvel's film division? If we're allowing Spider-Man talk in this thread ....

Hank Pym deserves a chance in the spotlight as Ant-man.
I'd love an Ant-man movie, The Avengers just doesn't seem right without him.

However I think he's a little dark for the Marvel movie universe; he beats his wife, is insecure, a complete dick. As if that weren't enough to stop it from being made, Janet is a mutant, and Marvel can't use anything mutant related because Fox owns the rights.

So they'd have to either destroy his character to get the movie made, or just not make it.

Personally I've been hoping for Black Panther for years. I can't believe they rebooted Hulk and made a fucking Thor movie before Black Panther.
You seem to be much more familiar with Ultimate Ant-man then regular continuity Ant-man.

Regular continuity Ant-man definitely has some mental issues, most likely some kind of bipolar disorder. but he only hit his wife once as far as I'm aware, and his wife isn't a mutant.
His abuse of Janet isn't common in 616 the way it is in Ultimate, but it was still a huge story line for his character; ignoring it would be like ignoring Tony Stark's Demon in a Bottle >_> ...

As for Wasp not being mutant, I'm not sure if the law would make that distinction as she is a mutant in one continuity. AFAIK anything with any sort of association with mutants can't be touched by Marvel Studios (and yes, I only know this as a result of watching The Big Picture, so I could be terribly wrong). Edit: Obviously I'm wrong here, or Marvel is willing to risk it/pay Fox

His Ultimate incarnation is incredibly close with his 616 version, just a little better fleshed out if you ask me (odd considering a significantly shorter run). Janet being a mutant made for a great basis for his many of his insecurities and so forth. Though I don't mean to change this to what version I prefer (obvious answer).

No matter how you look at it, he's a darker Marvel character; that is to say his storylines are heavily driven by what is very real drama for a lot of people. I just can't imagine him being material for a Summer action blockbuster. I think a movie treatment could make him seem like the poor man's Tony Stark.

EDIT: I had recalled seeing info ages ago about Edgar Wright doing an Ant-man movie. After a quick search, it still seems like it may happen; after going silent for some time Marvel and Wright are talking about it again. It's listed on IMDB and he just finished a test reel for it. It would be for Marvel Studios and not Fox or someone else, so take that how you will.

There's little info on it floating around; at one point Wright said both Pym and Lang would be in it. So it's possible that Pym might be largely ignored and Lang would end up being the title character -- of course that's just speculation.

Who knows if it'll actually happen.

Your thinking of the Ultimate universe Pym who is a unrepentant asshole, the main universe Pym while he did hit Janet once it was an accident and he was suffering a mental breakdown.

The Ultimate universe Pym is not much like 616 Pym inn 616 Pym is very insecure and prone to breakdowns but is a good person despite that, in the Ultimate universe he's half insane and has a strange love/hate relationship with Janet with him sifting his problems onto her. I actually like both versions of the characters but ultimate Pym is totally different in terms of character.

I always saw the Ultimate's Pym as being incredibly insecure, which is why he always had so much bravado. Janet being a mutant in Ultimates made things worse for Pym because he felt inadequate that he didn't have true powers as he needed to relay on tech.

I do really think they are similar, and the differences between their character are more of a result of better understanding of mental illnesses than anything. I mean it's not like they made him a giant human shaped brain... with cancer... and a sex tape or anything.

Haha, true that. Actually, my sister hated that mini series simply because she thought that joke was stupid. :p

Well, I do want a Dr Strange movie on one condition

By the eye of Agamotto!

Personally, I want a Heroes-for-Hire movie. Much as I love Luke Cage and Iron Fist, I don't think the two of them could carry a movie by themselves BUT the most incredibly badass buddy-cop movie in the world with Michael Jai White and _______ <- (Prominent White Martial artist here, really I'm only comitting to Michael Jai White because of Black Dynamite) with Misty Knight and Coleen Wing as back up?

I wouldn't just watch that movie, I'd FUND it.

I've been saying Strange should be played by Liam Neeson since Batman Begins. He's too perfect for the role.

Who do you want the next new Marvel movie to be about? Personaly I would love a Doctor Strange movie. the guy is 100 different kinds of awesome, the most powerful human in the universe and he is English (so am I).

EDIT: Yes I mean next movie with a new character. I know Iron Man 3 is next.

EDIT2: Ok Doctor Strange is not English and I cannot remeber who told me he was.
If you read 1604 he is English... in fact most of the characters are! :p

Personally I would like another decent Punisher Film, and a Captain Britain (In fact, all the Euro Captains in a Film together!

That was exactly what I was about to say.

Of course, I would settle for another good X-men movie, but it really is settling at this point. Also, there's no way I would want the guy who played Gambit for all of 10 seconds in Wolverine to play him. It's better if that movie never existed.

Yeah we could do with some Moon Knight love. Especially if they want to draw in batman fans after the batman movies end.

I'm thinking Black Panther will get it. He is well enough known that people may recognize the name, not so well known that everyone knows his story, adds diversity which I'm sure the higher ups will love, and he looks pretty cool too which people will like.

I want a Black Panther movie but I don't know if T'Challa can carry one by himself. I suspect he'll get snuck into a Cap movie because Vibranium shield.

We'll agree to disagree but yeah I don't know what they were thinking with the whole my entire body is a brain thing or the incest between Quicksilver and Scarlet witch a lot of weird stuff in the ultimate universe.

I heard Guardians of the Galaxy is up for 2014, though I haven't heard a word on the roster yet.
I am betting the roster will be a mix of recent Guardians (Abnett/Lanning) and other popular cosmic characters. I doubt we'll see Rocket and Groot unfortunately.
At the very least Rocket, I would assume, will make a cameo, based on his appearance in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Hopefully they alter the costumes a bit if Gamora or Moondragon show up. Not really eager for controversy #1,897.
I don't think Moondragon's costume should be grounds for controversy, personally (but other escapists can throw their two cents, image incoming). Gamora's WILL be, if it's kept, if only due to Vampirella flashbacks.

But I don't think Moondragon's biggest problem will be the costume. Oh no, it will be the fact that she and Captain Marvel are lesbians. You mark my words.

Also, no way they can make the movie without Rocket Racoon. I mean look at him, he's adorable. And badass.

Ironfistironfistironfistironfist.

Seriously, his backstory is awesome. Not really sure how it would work properly in a film though. And I want Orson Randall in there too. Just for the Gun-fu.

If that int going to happen, a heroes for hire film to test the water followed by possible (separate) origin stories for Luke and Danny would be good.

They would have to include her fight with Deadpool that she won because he was laughing so hard he couldn't fight back.
