Hmm... We'll never get one game that has every single one available. The reasoning is twofold. One, Gamefreak puts out multiple versions because they like money. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just an inalienable truth. Two having everything in one version really undermines a huge part of what the Pokemon series has been all about. It was built on the foundation of trading and sharing with friends, all the way from Red and Blue. You couldn't get both of the Hitmons in one version, you NEEDED to trade to have data for both. To do away with that crucial element of interaction, I feel, would throw a major kink in the system that's worked really well for ten years.Fidelias said:

What i dont understand is, why do all pokemon games have to be on handhelds. for once it would be cool to play fully graphically animated pokemon instead of pathetic sprites
I'd like to see them stop making Pokemon games. South Parks Chinpokomon helped a lot I admit but I also thought "What the hell am I doing with 600 pokemon collectible cards?"

Ability to customise the main character, or at least choose between more than just the one per gender. I know, as said before, it's not a story based rpg, but since the reason they released black and white on DS instead of 3DS is because they want as many people as possible to play it, it would make sense for the game to be personalised to each player as much as possible, especially since online play has been involved.

I'd personally remove the whole story's formula, there's so much potential there if the 8 badge-elite four with the bad guys as a sideline was removed.

Have a more open style of Gym Battles. Have, say, twenty gyms per region, but have them different 'tier' gyms. You need one badge from a tier 1 gym, tier 2 gym, and so on all the way to tier 8. Having extra badges from each tier has no extra advantages besides Pokémon Experience.
Be able to hold more than six Pokémon, but only have a few availible during battle (this one I don't really care about).

Higher levels on enemies, bring back battle frontier and make it obligatory, faster leveling and harder enemies. Maybe some change to the battle system, it's getting tiring. No damn event pokémon, we can't all live in Japan and US! More gyms, harder ones! Something to actually buy! And more stuff to do BESIDES catching pokémon. And 4th and maybe 5th grade evolutions!
