I would like being able to move to one of the previous regions after beating the game (like in Gold and Silver)
Sealing off a high level area on the map because of the nostalgia related to gym leaders etc. it also adds to the sense of continuity and gives some meaning to leveling for the champion/final final battle.

I also liked how you could unlock the good starters in HG and SS.

I also want something useful on the bottom screen. (movement by touch, anyone?)

I was kind of disappointed by the difficulty of the main story in black and white. Especially the "elite" four. 4 pokes per head? with everyone approximately the same difficulty? I am not intimidated.

Other than that, Black and white were a step in the right direction.

I'd like to go to whichever gym i wanted to first instead of just one set path, and all wild Pokemon/trainers Pokemon level up with you, instead of just set levels.

Also change the starter types, I'm a huge Pokemon fan and am sick of grass, water and fire types.

EDIT: Also Pokemon Centres...on routes.

Seriously i hate having to run back to the nearest town/city when all my team is nearly dead.

Me and my bro were talking about this recently. His idea, a Poke'mon MMO... My response "WHY THE HELL HASN'T NINTENDO JUMPED ALL OVER THIS!?! I mean it makes perfect sense! The way the game is set up it could be made into an MMO with little change to the actual game play, and now it's much easier to battle your friends, it's harder to hack the game, updates and expansions would be easy to implement. I mean the worlds would have to get bigger to spread out the players but that's just more places to explore! There are so many things they could do if they made the game an MMO.

My idea is a bit more on the technical side, I want to change the combat system to make speed a more useful stat. As of now it only determines which poke'mon goes first each turn. But if I had my way, the effective system would work much more like a rogue in WoW or energy in guild wars. In both theses games (for the few who are not familiar or need a refresher) attacks use a fixed amount of energy which automatically refills over time. I want poke'mon to need to use energy as well, and speed will determine not only who goes first each turn but how fast their energy recovers.

The new fights would look like this, Poke'mon start with full energy (but for the simplicity of the example lets assume they are both at 0). Now with the bars at 0 they start to fill at a rate proportional to their speed. When a poke'mon gets enough energy to preform their cheapest attack, that trainer will get a choice to attack or pass, If they choose to attack a normal turn begins and you can only choose to use a move if you have enough energy to use it(and the faster poke'mon attacks first), or you can choose to pass and you are attacked without fighting back (room for extra mechanics there, like defending or blocking or such). If you had passed (when you got enough energy to use your cheapest move) then the bars continue to fill until the next trainer has enough energy to attack, or basically a chance to begin a turn occurs every time a new attack has enough energy to be used.

If we start both poke'mon at full energy then it plays out as normal, with both poke'mon taking turns smacking each other in the face until one runs low on energy and has to recover, or the other faints. At any time either trainer could opt to pass so that they could charge up for a stronger attack, but remember, your opponent might have other plans.

What this system does is takes attacks like say furry swipes and makes them much more useful. It would be a low energy attack, and a very good follow-up to a strong attack where you now have a wounded opponent and low energy. It also takes fast poke'mon and makes them stronger, using their speed to greater advantage. Now you also have poke'mon with high defense being favorable because they can focus on occasional strong attacks while absorbing the quick attacks from your opponent with that crowbat.

Some moves may have to be revised with the new system but i think it would add an incredible amount of depth to the game. (oh yeah, obviously the more powerful an attack is, the more energy it uses)

What I want to see:

Put the VS Seeker back in the games.

Most customizable use of the touch screen. DPP have done this best so far, then HGSS took it a step back by forcing the menu on it. And now BW have stuck that C Gear or whatever on it. I would like to be more like DPP where I could put things on the bottom screen like my party and their health, the region map, number of steps you have taken (great for breeding), and so on. Make it customizable again so I can put what I would find most useful to the situation down there.

Add an option to remove that low health beep already. It's been annoying since Gen 1, and only now in Gen 5 have they done something with it. Sadly, what they did was make it worse by not only masking the current battle music with a constant "BEEP BEEP BEEP", but now it changes the music completely. Boo! Just a simple option added to the game, low health beep with the settings beep only/beep + music/none would be a fantastic.

Do something with the damn HMs. I still like a solution I thought up a while ago best over other ones I've heard (which are usually using items). Just let any Pokémon in your party use any HM move they can learn outside of battle without taking up a move slot. Since it's not using a move slot, you can't use it IN battle, but you can still use it OUT of battle. So you can still use crap moves like Flash, Defog, Rock Climb, and Cut outside of battle, but you don't have to gimp your Pokémon's in battle move list with them (or carry around an HM Whore at all times). And the moves can still be put on TMs (TMs are now infinite use, so they are basically the same thing as far as teaching Pokémon a move goes) so if you want some of the good ones (such as Surf and Waterfall), you can still add them as a battle move.
Alternatively, let us DELETE HM moves! In Gen 1 it made sense to have them be undeletable, because you could carry only 20 items total, and that included HMs. So you would use the HM, then deposit it into your PC so you had more room in your bag. And if you had been able to delete a move, you could potentially get yourself stuck. Say you Surf to Seafoam Islands, and then delete Surf off your Pokémon for Hydro Pump or something. Now you can't Surf to leave. You also don't have a Pokémon that knows Fly, and you don't have the Surf HM or Fly HM in your inventory. Congrats, you're fucked!
But ever since Gen 2 when you had a special TM/HM section of your bag so that you always had all your TMs and HMs with you without running out of space, there was no need to make HMs be permanent without the Move Deleter because you could just take out the HM again if you needed it. Because if you were in the above situation, you would just go to your HMs pocket where your Surf HM would always be and just reteach Surf to a Pokémon. So there is no longer any need to make HM moves require a Move Deleter to be deleted.

They should put the auto-level feature back in Wi-Fi battles. It made it so much easier to just play a battle on fair ground (100 VS 100 or 50 VS 50; no 30 VS 70 unless you wanted it that way). They also stiffed over the breeders who now can't see their Pokémons IVs without using a pile of rare candies. It's like they wanted people to use PokéSAV instead of raising their Pokémon in the game.

And last but not least... No MMO. There is no benefit to be gained in this franchise by making a Pokémon MMO. We can already battle and trade online which is what these games are all about. They have all the online functionality they need, so don't shit all over the franchise by putting other players in my single player overworld exploring and Pokémon catching.

The ability to both withdraw and deposit pokemon into boxes on one menu, instead of having to move in and out of seperate menus.
That's been in the games since Generation 3. Instead of "withdraw" and "deposit", select "move". Now you can move Pokémon between other boxes AND your party all in one screen. There's also a button in there you can press that turns your hand gold, and then instead of selecting a Pokémon and asking if you want to pick it up, view its stats, change its tag, etc, you can just press that button (in Gen 3 GBA games it was Select, and in Gen 4 DS games I think it's X, maybe Y) and then it automatically picks any Pokémon you select (or puts them down) without asking what you want to do.

It's really quite awesome, except in Heart Gold and Soul Silver which made the option extremely unintuitive somehow. But hey, that's what Gold and Silver do: shit on the franchise. So I'm not surprised it managed to ruin a feature that has been working perfectly since it was added.

Maybe a online thing would work, just up the graphics a bit (while remaining the handheld feeling, ofcourse) and get some servers up and make it a online thing. I don't think something as big as Pokemon can only be a singleplayer, it can be more. Than people can set up tournaments and stuff, against other players around the globe. I mean, why not?

Ohh and I want the Pokemon Yellow thing back that Pickachu walks behind you, but then with any given pokemon.

What i want is pretty cosmetic:
-To Customize the character and it's sprite. (Not like age, or height, but just hair, skin, and eye color.)
Eye colour? You can barely see you sprites head, why do you want to customize the eye colour you fool?

-To fly to 'every' Pokemon center you find.
You can... it's been like that since the very beginning.

-Umm...Get some new Pokemon artists/designers...(A GARBAGE BAG POKEMON, COME ON!)
I think they look quite nice. I don't want to see Digimon in Gen VI. And you can hardly fault the designers; there are over 600 Pokemon - so what if the inspiration is a little weird?

Remotely threatening looking villains and by this I mean the grunts. Team Condom looks silly, same with Galactic.

Thats cause the grass starters (with the exception of Venasuar) have always sucked.

Black and White have people who will randomly hear them (like the nurse between the first city with a gym and pinwheel forest.

The question came up, and one thing my friends and I thought of is you get a cemetery area (like the tower in Lavender Town, and the Church Religious Structure in Hearthome) that oyu battle trainers in, and you either purposely have your Eevee lose (maybe the main head honcho guy battles you with something level 100 and you are meant to lose) then your eevee dies/gets ill/severly injured/something and the guy turns it to a ghost type and gives it back to you at the current level.

ALso, he doesnt take your money if you lose. I know, its stupid. but really, is that immplausible?

Shouldn't using the dusk stone be easier ? it works on Lampent and that is a fire/ghost

Also, we're now up to 649 Pokémon. How the fuck are we supposed to catch them all?
I've got a copy of Emerald, LeafGreen, Diamond, SoulSilver, and now White. While I may not be able to catch them *all* with those games, I can get pretty darn close. My Pokedex in Silver is at about 430, without having done much of anything in Diamond or Emerald.

A Ghost Dragon eeveelution?

Or perhaps someone should draw up some awesome eevee forms!
Not Ghost Dragon.. just ghost
How would eevee evolve into a ghost?

That is the question..

It sounds impractical
Meaning if you we're to progress normally in the game and beat the team or just didn't want Eevee to go ghost type at that moment, then how would you get it later in the game?

Since you cant just say "well the next time if faints it will evolve into a ghost type" then that would just be annoying if every time he faints, you have to be canceling the evolution.

I only have one request, and that would be to actually be more creative with some of the pokemon, no more cop-outs. More specifically "No pokemon that are also trash bags" would be priority #1.

Use a dusk stone. It evolves certain dark and ghost types already.

Co-op would be pretty cool, and more dynamic battles. Also, we need 'Cave Repel', because walking trying to walk through caves in Pokemonis the equivalent of trying to thread a needle through a hole while standing on a pole with one leg in the middle of a tempest - except a little more frustrating.

There are a few changes I'd make to Pokémon:

Customisation
You can say what you like, but Pokémon is missing it. Regardless of well I can see my character I want to be attached to the thing. It doesn't even have to be indepth customisation, I really don't care about age, height, sex etc. I want three or four skin shades, a few set hair styles and colours and the four basic eye colours. After that I want to change what he's wearing, because all past characters have had stupid outfits. Also I hate headwear. I want a character that I can at least identify as my own; one that won't have an annoying Anime counterpart.

Different End Outcomes
You know how in Black and White you're constantly meeting up with your childhood friends to do battle? How about that actually meaning something? If I lose to Cheren or Bianca I want that to reflect when I get to the Elite Four. I want my rival to be determined by who I lost most against; and if I beat them both all the time than step in mystery Elite Trainer.

A Challenge
To relate to my above statement, it gets boring when the Elite Four and the final challenger are the same over and over; making them oh so grindable. So why not mix it up? After I've beaten my first Champion; make all subsequent challengers random each time so I'm at least forced to shake up my battle routine.

Defining Male/Female features
This might seem petty but hear me out. It sucks getting a butch, masculine looking Pokémon and having a little Venus symbol up there showing that it's a woman. This has already be started in the past few generations and with some Pokémon it's less of an issue. However given some Pokémon such as Kangaskhan, Jynx and Chansey have no male counterparts and that Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Hitmontop have no female counterparts. One does beg the question of how these Pokémon mate.
