That's my point, so what if she gets more hits? At the end of the day it doesn't matter. I doubt the OP cares that much how many hits the video has, they just wanted to share a bad song.Nouw said:I beg to differ, it does matter because many people have this mentality of sharing something bad. Do you think this video would have gotten seven million views out of people who genuinely liked the song? No, the only reason 'bad' artists are known is because people share them around.Scentless Apprentice said:I hate this argument. Firstly I find that mindset a little baffling. If you hate it so much, why are you spreading it? Wouldn't you want to share a good song which will brighten up someone's day instead of encouraging negativity? Why?Scentless Apprentice said:That's my point, so what if she gets more hits? Secondly, some artists strive on hate. Friday wouldn't have been the hit it was if the haters stayed away. It would have died in some corner of Youtube. Instead, yet another teen is famous and somewhat rich. A musician's career shouldn't be jump-started by hate, at least Justin Bieber got recognized for his talents not his lack of.
Another example which a group even says it in their lyrics.
"Talk shit to us you fucking haters
You're the ones who fucking made us"
"You hate us and our stupid lyrics
But deep down you love to hear it"
Brilliant. Just brilliant.
