The longest standing nickname I've had was "Becky". Okay, so it started 10 years ago: I was on a road trip with some friends, and to pass the time we played "What if..." games, and the one question came up: If you could change your name, what would you change it to? Everyone was going with same sex names, but that was boring so I said that if I was a girl I'd want my name to be Becky. It stuck with me ever since, and for a while there were a few friend-of-a-friends that only knew me as Becky. I still have friends who'll call me Becky sometimes.
