I made my nickname my official name, so it's technically no longer my nickname.
My other, far less used nickname is, translated in English, "Cape Devil". When I was a teenager, the Matrix boom started and my friend coined the term "cape devil" to describe anyone who wore a long black coat. Of course, I had a long black coat, so I was also a cape devil.

Joebot is in fact my nickname! Don't really know where it came from. Something to do with my being called Joe, obviously. And I guess I did something faintly robotic at some point? Don't recall what, though...

Well, it's not often I get called by a nickname nowadays, but that may be because I spend much more time around fellow students (in which case, for some reason, using names isn't always needed), but there's a few I used to get a lot, or still get on occasion.
'Lawless', because of my alias (not vice versa, as you'd probably expect). Usually online, I assume because it's often my screen-name it's used informally as a nickname.
'Snuffles', which was apparently my ex's codename for me before we got together. Still comes up when in the same circle.
'Werewolf', also started by my ex. Apparently I got it for my nocturnalism and because I occasionally file my nails into claws.
...Ok, I can understand that one.
Also, my lecturers have a habit of calling me 'you, with the hair'. That count?

My name isn't either, I'm called James, but it's my username for everything including XBL where all my mates got used to calling me Jasper, so they use it in real life. I don't mind, I like the sound of Jasp. There is one guy from primary school too that calls me Semaj because I liked to write my name backwards on everything. Everyone else tends to call me Jonesy.
Oh, and I'm known on some MMO's as Bacon, because I name at least one character Vecarn, which apparently sounds somewhat like the Jamaican way of saying bacon. It's either that or Soc, like the sock you put on your dick to masturbate foot.

My real name is Hannu and that's what most people call me. Actually, I don't like being called by nicknames and when someone does I often politely ask him/her to use my real name. Unless that person is a hot girl
