So...conventional wisdom says the Saints are going to win because Drew Brees somehow inherited the right arm of God and has broken every record that kept Dan Marino in the collective consciousness. Here's why this shall prove FALSE!!!
Drew Brees has on occasion crapped the bed. Interceptions have added stress to games where he should have lead his team to beyond crushing victories, and he's playing the #1 turnover generating defense in the NFL. The Niner's defense has consistently shown that they can pressure a QB, which will be vital for victory since Drew Brees can just as easily throw 40 yards as he can throw 4. Jimmy Graham, and Darren Sproles are good for short yardage passes and Yards After Catch, but the Niners Def have been keeping YAC totals down all season as well.
The Saints are going to score 3 touchdowns, this is just going to happen, but that will be it! David Akers is going to kick 5 Field Goals however because the Niners aren't capable of scoring in the Red Zone with any consistency. BUT!!!! The Saints are going to be COUNTING on the Niners NOT getting into the end zone, and thus we shall score at least two TD's by element of surprise and Frank Gore running over Darren Sharper.
