NINJA LEGEND DRAGON WARRIOR: Search and fight for the power of the Ultimate Ninja Dragons!
A ninjasploitation adventure in the style of the Godfrey Ho Ninja Films, like this:

NINJA LEGEND DRAGON WARRIOR: An exciting tale of a war between factions all hungry for the ultimate power on the Ninjas!
The Ultimate Ninja Dragons are essentially statues which each grant their own powers to the person who owns it. When combined, they grant all of their powers and more making the person who controls all of them The Supreme Ninja.

There are several factions wanting to claim The Ultimate Ninja Dragons for themselves. Most notably the Ninja League, who have scoured the earth for years to find them all. They were on the verge of having all of them until a split in the Ninja League caused the Ultimate Ninja Dragons to be divided and scattered. The League was split into two sub-leagues, the Peace Ninjas who wanted to keep the Ultimate Ninja Dragons from those who would abuse them and the Chaos Ninjas who wanted the Ultimate Ninja Dragons to destroy all opposition to their rule.

Meanwhile several gangs have learned of the existance of the Ultimate Ninja Dragons, some of them wanting the Dragons for themselves.

Now its up to the actions of a few to determine the fate of the Ultimate Ninja Dragons....

NINJA LEGEND DRAGON WARRIOR: A gripping story of greed for fantastic Ninja abilities and Juctice!!

NOTE: Your character doesn't have to be a ninja, as long as they are close to something that can be seen in a bad Ninja or Kung Fu movie. You can only control one character at a time.

Name: Obviously.

Alias: If you wish to have one.

Appearance: Not too important, but if you want to go into detail, by all means.

Faction: Not compulsory, but you can be on the side of either:
-The Peace Ninjas
-The Chaos Ninjas
-Gang (Can be of you own design)
-Police/FBI/Whatever

Powers/Abilities: Simple enough, the power you have as a ninja(or not). It can as simple as cryokenesis like Sub-Zero or flashstepping like the guys from Ninja Terminator. You can also have tech or magic based powers, it can be whatever you like as long as it isn't OP or Godmodding. Dont be afraid of silly ideas, I'll even consider the idea of a Beef Ninja!

Skills: What non supernatural abilities they have. Martial Arts, knife throwing, computer hacking etc.

Equipment: What gear/weapons your character uses.

Backstory: A basic outline of your characters history and or motivation, with an origin for their powers/abilities. A paragraph will do. Characters can have shared backstories if agreed upon.

Will start in a city loosely resembling San Francisco. Most of the factions will be centered there. Details may be changed in time.

70/80's ninja themed rp? Crazier ideas have worked. Consider my interest piqued and my sides in stitches...

Name: Kanada Thomas

Alias: The Pirate

Appearance: When on a job, wearing a mix of the white ranger's get-up and stereotypical pirate garb, though they are much better protection than what they look. No parrot, but the hat, instead of a peg-leg, a bio-mechanical leg from the knee down.

In normal settings he's shaved his head and has almost transparent blonde eyebrows, with a normal build, if more upper-body strength than is normal and scar tissue along the right side of his head, though this is normally covered by a cap or hat of some sort. He walks with a fake, but believable limp and a black lacquered cane with a silver handle and bottom, and the standard rubber foot.

Faction: The Chaos Ninjas

Powers/Abilities: His foot is equipped with retractable climbing claws and a hidden compartment holding a five terabyte USB. He has had a part of his brain replaced with a storage device, large enough to handle and outstrip it's predecessor, drastically improving his reaction time, and an external port with an adapter that allows him to hack at inhuman speed. Because of his replacements, he is much faster than almost everyone, and is able to push himself longer than most.

Skills:computer hacking, basic close-combat techniques, but only when his remarkable stealth and climbing abilities fail, and even then, he prefers to not kill simply because it attracts more attention to his burglaries and "minor" pilfering. He is even more adept at throwing and hitting with his custom weapons.

Equipment:custom stars and pointy objects made from old CD's, Laserdisks, and DVD's, The only real weapons he has are his extendable climbing claws that are strapped to his forearms. Similar to that one ninja game's weapons, don't remember the name of it though. The normal burgler equipment, lockpicks, keycard hacker, demagnetizer, etc. you get the idea.

Backstory: Kanada is the son of Kathy and Jerry Thomas, each one of the most infamous burglers of their time. He learned from an early age their trade, and has improved on what they taught him. Objects no longer hold as much value, information is much more valuable and is infinitely easier to move and sell. When he was 16, he and his parents were in a car crash, which killed them and left him without a leg below the knee and a damaged skull. Luckily, medical surgery had recently been able to replace parts of a brain, unfortunately for him, the part of the brain they replaced screwed with his long term memory, which left holes in his early memories. He doesn't remember his time from age 3 to 12 and has blank patches from 13 to a few months before the crash.

He was thrown around the foster care system until his 18th birthday, which is when he began burgling full-time. He was able to get upgrades within a few years and went into the espionage and information brokering market, earning much more money and allowing for more toys, as he calls them. He had stacks of disks from odd jobs and had recently been stealing most everything he had, from games and movies, and at times, his furniture. This prompted him to become more than just another robber, and so he became the pirate ninja. He was forced to re-learn some of his parent's teachings from old home movies and has evolved into leaving a calling card. If it's an information job, he leaves a USB with a standard pirate symbol on it, if it's something else, it's just a regular business card. The USB has a program on it that erases all of a computer's files and leaves a bad MS Paint drawing of a pirate laughing at the unfortunate soul. The card pretty much has the same.

He joined the Chaos Ninjas after he and another one of their members ran into each other during one of his jobs. Both going for separate valuables, but his specific skill set was needed, as he later found out. He joined for the money and the high risk jobs, the Dragon Treasures are just another job to him, though it's been harder than his normal job.

Powers/Abilities: Control over Shadows, allowing Teleportation, Shadow Based Attacks, can use shadows for near total invisibility.

Skills: Leader of the Chaos Ninjas and Master Ninja.

Backstory: Born to a line of Ninja Masters, Ninja Master of Dark Ninja Arts Ninja was trained from birth to become a master ninja of the Dark Arts. He soon became one of the most respected Ninja's in the Ninja League and began one of the highest Grandmasters in the League. He was left in charge for the collection of the The Ultimate Ninja Dragons in the Americas. In is lust for Ultimate Ninja Power, he started the uprising in the League and formed the Chaos Ninjas. Once all the Ultimate Ninja Dragons are his, the world will be his oyster.
And he has a Oyster Mallet...

Name:Markus Fields

Alias:WolF (spelled like that,pronounced normally)

Appearance:Long black coat,kevlar type west underneath the coat,a black fedora hat, and an eyepatch.Light brown hair and a goatee.

Faction:Former Chaos Ninja,now a Peace Ninja

Powers/Abilities: Summoning a doppleganger,able to induce hallucinations,can regenerate wounds when in darkness but it takes a while.

Skills:A formidable close quarters fighter, Able to throw knives extremely fast, a master of lockpicking, a master "influencer".It is said that he can break into any area no matter how heavily defended.

Equipment:A dagger with a jewel in it's handle, Throwning knives hidden in his coat, lockpicks ,a one-shot tranquilizer gun, a berreta m9 equippable with a surpressor, a butterfly knife, sleeping gas bombs and a pack of cigarettes

Backstory:Markus spent most of his life in an orphanage and didn't know anything about his parents except the fact that his mother left him an amulet with a green crystal in it.At a young age he escaped from the orphanage and met an old man who took him in and cared for him.In his teens he earned somewhat of a reputation of being able to steal anything and get away with it, earning him a nice bounty on his head for it.On his 18th birthday the old man payed of his bounty and got him a blade with a jewel in the handle.Later he befriended a girl named Ana living near the old man's house and she introduced him to the leader of the Chaos Ninja Clan.He was taken in by the clan and soon prooved to be a skilled assassin.He was able to earn enough money and eventually bought himself a home base and with the help of his friend Ana, get some proper assassin equipment via the black market.One day he was sent on a mission that turned out to be an ambush.Waiting for him there was his dear friend Ana and several Chaos Clan members.He had dispatched the Clan members and was able to defeat Ana in a duel.He had the opportunity to kill her but he chose to leave her.Knowing he couldn't be able to return to the Clan base he ran to his home only to find it burned to the ground.


Now filled with rage after the Clans betrayal he swore to find the Chaos Clan's leader and bring him to justice.He joined the ranks of the Peace Ninja Clan and provided them with valuable information concerning the Ultimate Ninja Dragons.He quickly rose through the ranks becoming one of the most valued Clan members.

Now, at the age of 32 he works as a bounty hunter,thief for hire, information gatherer and hitman.

He has been unsuccesfull in finding the whereabouts of the Chaos Clan's leader.

Hmmm... I think I might put forth a character.

Name: Abe Izanagi

Alias:

Appearance: Has particularly sharp facial features with pronounced cheeks and a pointed chin. Often wears a flowing top robe with long sleeves and black leggings though the color is often different depending on what is auspicious. However, he also cuts a pretty good figure in more modern cloths.

Faction: The Peace Ninjas

Powers/Abilities: Izanagi is a powerful Onmyoji who has mastered several arts. He can deflect projectiles with his bare hands, fowl electronics with a charm, and protect against evil spirits and influences. He also is skilled in summoning Shikigami to do his bidding, though the destruction of their paper bodies can cause harm to Izanagi. Izanagi can also achieve a verity of effects through the use of rituals (at DM's discretion.

Skills: Izanagi is one of the most insightful diviners that his family has produced in many generations. Also, though his family is of the mystic sub-sect, Izanagi was still technically born of the ninja league so he knows a bit of martial arts though not as much a a true ninja; Izanagi prefers weapons that are long and flowing like cloth or ropes. Izanagi is also skilled at the art of origami which is useful for summoning his Shikigami into. Though medicine was never Izanagi's strong suit of study he knows some basic field care and surgery. Finally, Izanagi has a near prodigious skill with languages and is currently fluent in Japanese, English, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, French, and German.

Equipment: Izanagi may not always wear it, but he almost always carries a long red silk scarf that has tiny weights in each end. He also usually has a steel edged fan and a few spare Ofuda.

Backstory: Abe Izanagi was born to a clan of Onmyoji mystics within the league of ninjas. As had been done for generations past it was assumed that he would enter into the family legacy and become a diviner for the league of ninjas. For the most part things went well and Izanagi excelled at his training. However, once his training was complete things began to go wrong.

Izanagi was constantly bothered by bad visions and portends of destruction. Izanagi went to consult with his father, who was the league's head mystic at the time. However, Izanagi was shocked when he overheard his father speaking with Ninja Master of Dark Ninja Arts Ninja; and of rebellion of all things! Not only that, but Izanagi's father was clouding it from the others. Izanagi was torn between his love for his father and for the rest of his family and friends.

Izanagi confronted his father over the mater personally resulting in a fight. In the end Izanagi was forced to flee, but reported the treachery. Izanagi still isn't sure exactly what his father's motivations are, but he is determined not to let the Ultimate Ninja Dragons fall into the hands of the Chaos Ninja.

Done for now. I hope I didn't go too far with the background.

Also: totally willing to establish shared back stories or relationships with other characters.
