When you say ten years senior, are you talking about as a ninja? Because she is only 2 years older than Katsuo.
I suggest we recruit another person and put our comatose companion on hold for the moment till he wakes up from his coma. Your opinion?

Name: Makoto Nakashima
Gender: male
Age: 18
Appearance: Standing at 5' 11", Makoto looks like a football player with broad shoulders and a tight torso. Makoto has bluish-grey eyes, short and flat light brown - to dark blonde hair, and tan skin. With only one distinguishable mark on him, a scar running down a third of his left arm from a fight in the chunnin exams, Makoto can blend into a crowd fairly well. He wears the standard flak jacket but has made some modifications to where it has less armor in order to give him more speed, as well as a mask that covers his mouth and nose, and only takes it off to sleep and eat, and has his headband tied around his leg.
Family History: Born to strict parents, Makoto was either training with his father or doing chores for his mother. His father was a jonin that almost exclusively used a sword and so trained Makoto exstensively in it. Makoto's father defended the village during Pain's attack but was sadly killed in action. His mother took care of him, and his uncle continued his training.
Weapons: The katana his father used (he is trying to learn jutsus for it but has been unsuccesful with it so far), some kunai knives, and throwing stars.

Bio: Makoto grew up with an attitude of strictness, due to his parents, and has a no-nonsense attitude. Also due to his father's training schedule, Makoto rarely had time for friends thus, being very shy, and feeling uncomfortable in large groups. If he and his squad are not on a mission, then he is usually less up-tight and can be quite open and out there once he starts to get on a roll. Makoto is always thinking about something whether it be the analysis of the previous battle or the all-sought out-meaning of life. Since he never had many friends, Makoto came to cherish those he finds and tries his best to make sure his squadmates all come back from a mission. Makoto has a strong sense of honor and will always keep his word; even if that means death.

Makoto was walking down the streets of konohagakura to Ramen Ichiraku remembering that a messenger bird brought him a note telling him to report to Ichiraku's about his new team. In a few minutes he found himself at his destination, walked in and ordered a bowl of ramen. He decided to wait and see if the people already there were his squad mates, and if so, if they could point him out.

Glad to see we have another player. I quick question - if he trained exclusively with a sword and there is no mention of an academy, why does he master Two elements?
Besides that little bitchin', a nice character, though it seems that unlike the rest you have no kekkei Genkai. A refreshing change!
I'm not sure what to do next, so you should probably just ask whether or not your squad mates are in the eatery.

I'm fine with the dual affinity, brings 'em up to par with the rest of us. not trench coating so i don't have a problem with it.
"You must be our new teammate, fit the description and picture. What make you cut out for the team?" she asked, looking straight forward.
"You see this sword on my back? Brings a little variety to the team. Oh, and thanks for paying." Makoto replied. "I'm guessing the guys sitting next to you are my teammates?" he shot back.
You misread, his bio said the he trained extensively, not exclusively, but I can see what your getting at. If you want me to change it let me know and I will.
"Ashikara Kayo" Kayo introduced himself to the new arrival, "You use Wind release?" Kayo pointed at the sword
"My names Nakashima Makoto, and to answer your question, no. As strange as it is I use mostly water and some fire. I intend to learn some wind or lightning release to make better use of my sword, but right now, its not going to happen. I'm guessing we have a mission, or are about to have one, considering how I was hastily put into your squad," he said looking towards Yukiko, care to fill me in?"
