I normally get good deals on Amazon, though N64 games will probably vary depending on the rarity.

I think you should really get Starfox 64
also, not to encourage hax on the latest generations of consoles, but I do believe there exist N64 Roms on the Internets

I'm not really sure where you could find them cheap. My cousin just bought a bungh of N64 stuff at a pawn shop that specializes in electronics, which was a great deal.

As for games I would recommend Super Smash Bros. 64 it's a great game, so much fun

Thanks for all the assistance. I really wanted a Super NES, but ended up buying the N64 instead, mainly because of Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64 etc.

I will visit the dude on Wednesday and see what he came up with. He said he had Perfect Dark lying at home. Hope he also has an Expansion Pak.

I don't want to buy a Nintendo Wii and an Xbox to play these games while I already own a Nintendo 64. Thanks for all the help!

So I went to the market today. I bought Mario Party for £5! That's a pretty good deal.
He said that he would try and acquire Perfect Dark and an Expansion Pa(c)k for me by Saturday.

I don't think you will be finding cheap N64 games on less they are the really terrible onces. Most of the N64 games that came out were classics and were the best games of their times. They now act as like the grand fathers fro 3D gaming, also those are collectible games so of course they are going to sell for tons. So don't expect you will be finding any cheap games.

I would've just got an emulator for the N64 (Project 64 is the best) and then got the ROMs that way. As long as you don't do this for Current Gen consoles it won't be conspicuous because N64 games are no sold in the public anymore. Not that it makes it legal, but anyway.

Keep shopping around, sometimes amazon can have a bargain, other times a rip off. ebay you have to keep checking, and theres always a games shop in towns which have some knocking about. Good luck!

Thanks, Adamje2326. I'll keep my eyes open. There are still a few more games I especially would like to get a hold of :
-Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time
-Perfect Dark (Maybe on Saturday)
-Resident Evil 2

You can find games cheap on eBay if you're persistent. Set a cap and don't go over, you'll eventually get it. Go for odd hours or holidays (which a lot of people spend with their families, I always get a lot of cheap stuff on eBay on Christmas Day). Flea markets and pawn shops are usually your cheapest bets.

You should also try to find Donkey Kong 64. It's the best platformer on the N64.

Old N64 games, especially the classis tend to be more expensive. Although I did find an awesome bargain on eBay. Donkey Kong 64 including RAM expansion, complete with box and manuals for £15. I couldn't click the Buy it Now button fast enough.

As others stated, Ebay is ONE of your best options. Flea markets, thrift shops, and Pawn Shops can yield good results. But, with all of these you need to be diligent, patient, and smart.

This site: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/console/nintendo-64

Aggregates the current prices of available games from various sites. It should give you a good starting point before running out and buying stuff.

And good luck! I have a Nintendo 64, and it has not steered me wrong yet!

OK, just to update :

-Yesterday I bought a used copy of "Perfect Dark" , A memory card VCR for my SEGA Dreamcast, "FIFA 98" , "WCW vs. NWO World Tour" for £ 16 !
That's a pretty good deal! I'm still waiting for the guy to get the Expansion Pak, but I would highly recommend you people to seek out the pawn shops in your city if you are looking for old gaming consoles.

Just be glad you don't try and buy NES and Spectrum games, some of them cost a bomb, they're usually worth it though.

Best bet is try somewhere like Gamestation or CEX, N64 games are pretty rare and generally in perfect working order, hense the higher price. With the PS2 being the most popular consul there are loads knocking about and they're dirt cheap to pick up :/

Forbidden planet use to do old games, but not sure if they still do. Otherwise try and find a good market stall that does old games.
