i would suggest having an N64 imported from the States, why? because N64 games are freaking everywhere over here. everything is pretty cheap over here.

how much does Perfect Dark ring up on amazon over here? $3.00. $10 for one new in box.

You're most likely not going to find them for reasonable prices online. Old games, especially popular ones, are seen as collector's items by a lot of people. And people will pay outrageous prices for them. I haven't checked prices since FF7 was released digitally on PSN, but for an example, before that the game would sell for $100.00 USD on ebay easily.

Get a wii and download the games for 10-15 dollars a piece on the wii console service
Because, of course, Resident Evil 2 and Perfect Dark are available on the Wii's Virtual Console...

awww Kirby and the Crystal Shards isn't on your list. it really should be.

that's a game that would cost me $20 USD. I would gladly pay if I could drop $20 like that.

So you...want games but don't want to pay their worth? Ehhh you should have just gotten an emulator if you're that cheap.

And Bomberman 64, Bomberman 64: The Second Attack as well. I once bought a 64 just for those games.
I hear you. I just recently bought a Nintendo 64 to use and play while I am studying in England (our place doesn't have a HD TV), and as being a student, I can't afford those collector prices and if I can get a game cheaper, I always will purchase that game. I already own a PS3 and a XBox360, PS2 and a Sega Dreamcast at home. I am not willing to pay hundreds of dollars/pounds for a used Legend Of Zelda-game even though it is a Collectors item. I'll probably end up selling the N64 back when I'm travelling back to Norway. If I can fit it in my luggage, I will take it with me.

I have pretty much owned these games before (GoldenEye, Resident Evil 2, Legend of Zelda... , Perfect Dark), but I sold them when I got the Sega Dreamcast. One day while I was at the market, I saw this guy selling game consoles. He didn't have a NES at the moment. He said that they are the hottest Items at the moment, and they usually sell out pretty fast. So I got a N64 to play GoldenEye, Mario Kart 64 and Mario Party with some school mates here :)

I'm not cheap, I just don't want to pay PS3-game prices for an old N64 cartridge that I'll probably wind up selling in the end :)

Ok, so I got the games I wanted, now, I just need the Expansion Pak. Gonna head into town tomorrow and see if he got it. Maybe some new games. I remember "International Superstar Soccer 2000" was pretty awesome.

How are the other Mario Party games? Are they any good?

Try and get ahold of Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64, you will not be disappointed at ALL my friend. It's still better than its xbox remake.

If he was just gonna play them on an emulator, this topic would not be here. He wants to buy them instead, his choice, we cannot change that and we shouldn't try to.

Surprised no one mentioned Conker yet! Come on, that game is a classic, also it was Rare's way of making a non-kid friendly game while making it look that way.
