I like it that video games are the only media that you can say:

Look, we messed up, THUS WE ARE AWESOME! :D
Too bad the many hilarious glitches in Generation 1 of Pokemon were never acknowledged in the same way.
You mean like the Mew glitch and those classic No. 000 pokemon?

Yes, and others. The Walk-through-walls glitch, the Dokokashira (Where am I?) door, and various others. There were also many minor graphical glitches which could be easily triggered.

What do you mean by that? Did Nintendo or Game Freak respond to the glitches in a negative way?

I'm not sure if I ever really finished the original Super Mario Bros without getting a ton of extra lives by the glitch. We used to call it "robbing the turtle."

Those sound pretty cool, unfortunately I'm only familiar with the two I mentioned. I had a Missingno who was fun to use in combat and I never had it destroy my save data. It had 3 moves water gun twice and sky attack. I tried to use him in pokemon stadium in the hopes of seeing its true form, but it just turned it into a purple ditto.

Yes. They advised people to never catch Missingno., removed Cinnabar Island and the Safari Zone from Pokemon Gold/Silver, and made it impossible to trade older Pokemon to Ruby/Sapphire.

What was the Bowser glitch at 0:52? I completely miss that one.
I remember all of the other ones. back in the day you would play the same game over and over for months if not years! So you got to know all the exploits and glitches quite well :)
If you get the axe as Bowser hits you it'll register the hit but it won't shrink you.

The second and third ones are glitches?
The second one really does look like it was intentional, unless it was some really strange coding. Regardless, the third one is definately a glitch, Mario became tiny, and when throwing fireballs grew again for a second.
