I really hope we get an American release date for Fire Emblem/ Shin Megami Tensei. Other than that, I'm really hoping for news of an American launch window for Yo-Kai Watch 2. I do realize that I'm one of the few American fans for that series so if it doesn't happen be prepared to endure my tears. Finally, I want details on Federation Force. Again, I feel like the only person who wants to see more of whatever that thing is.

It would be nice to see some actual footage of Sun/Moon but I feel like Nintendo is going to hold off on showing that off until E3. Same with Zelda NX U.

I'd love it if I was wrong, but I really doubt we'll be getting any Sun/Moon details at all. Too soon. Maybe a Fates UK release date and, if we've been very good this year, Zelda news.

Just watched the direct and it was meh. only three games I cared about were Paper Mario (but it seems to be a sticker star Sequel oh god help us), the new Kirby game and the metroid spinoff that doesn't look Bad so far(going to videogame hell for saying that) the rest was ports and stupid toys.

also did anyone else notice that all the games were given no buildup whatsoever? it was just now here's such and such, really weird.

Looks confirmed based on the live blogging I have seen. They said Exclusively for NEW 3DS. Which means probably not regular 3DS.

Unfortunately, it's currently impossible to play SNES games on the original 3DS. And this isn't a "Nintendo don't know their own consoles" thing either. Homebrewers have failed to make SNES work right on the system. So yeah, N3DS really is the only option.

I think its because they had a lot to cover. They spent 7 minutes at max on any individual game and spent 3 minutes on average per game. It's not bad as we get a lot of info in a short time. As for the direct itself, if we remember that the NX will be focused on soon, it's not a bad way for the Wii U and 3DS to go.
