It's not so much the others weren't that funny, it's that the Sony one was the best delivered. The Valve one was ok, but was a bit long for a "Valve Time" joke (to me, at least). Oh and it's not bias it's hyperbole, this guy may not even be a nintendo fan, heck the whole thing is based on Nintendo getting drunk and calling up third party developers for content because they can't be bothered making anything new on their own. Like I said, it's hyperbole, the matriach of comedy. It's essentially every webcomic based on videogames (so like EVERY webcomic) summed up in one forum post.

It's not, though. Not ironic at all. By the way, none of the hipsters I know, not the douchebaggy ones or the cool, interesting, subversive ones or the dorks who just like to stretch their lobes and wear purple in their hair like things "ironically" or dress a certain way to be ironic. When you see that shit on sitcoms it's usually the product of a TV writer who isn't as smart as he thinks he is and, much like many escapists, doesn't understand irony. So perhaps this person thinks he is being ironic/sarcastic, but he seems to understand what makes these things work. I worked with a massive tool of a hick who had an appropriately alliterative hillbilly name who tried to verbally bully me on a regular basis. Problem was, he was sarcastic so often that his sarcasm didn't work any more. He never ever stopped being sarcastic, and ended up saying quite a bit that was damned near Freudian. "I'm just a big dumb hick." Well, yeah, I can't really argue there. How can anyone think they're better than someone else because they can't properly speak/spell when insulting them?Nyaliva said:
