Does any here have a DSi? I have been considering buying one but I really want to know how well the camera, internet and downloading games works before I take the plunge. Does any one have any feed back? Is it worth the money or should I just stick with my DSlite?

Yeah I have been thinking of getting one, I kind of detest my PSP nowadays, whereas I quite covet my sisters DS, but I need to check how many games I would consider buying first.

DS Lite is better if you like your GBA games. However, there are some cool downloadable games set to be available really soon.

I don't have a DSi, though, so what can I really contribute.

From what I've seen it's too much like a normal DS and the camera is next to useless. Although I'm just going off what my co-workers say (I work in a game shop) so I may be wrong.

idk about you guys, but the original DS concept bored me. overall (in my opinion) the gameboy SP was the best of the game boy releases. SP ALL THE WAY!

Lack of a GBA slot + blocks out R4 + decrease in the price of regular DS Lite = me not getting a DSi.

If you already have a GBA/GBA SP/GBA Micro, go ahead and get a DSi since you wron't need the GBA slot. If you don't, keep the Lite. You may miss some of them.

The DSi is more targeted towards those who have never owned a previous game boy system. If you already got a DSlite the DSi is not really worth it unless it is true and they start making DSi specific games. Don't own any GBA games? Never had a Game boy? well...the DSi is a pretty viable purchase.

And the DSi is region coded, so I can't play some of my games on it if I bought one. Sticking with my DS Lite. I got mine for my birthday too, when I was 18. I love the little thing, I have 23 games for it. I might get a DSi if my Lite breaks though.

... that's nice, although irrelevant to the current discussion.

Anyways, I didn't get hyped over the Lite, I won't get hyped over the DSi. I like my fatty.

I heard the DSLite can go for longer, anyone know if this is true?
I had a fat and got a lite now, I like the lite a lot more. I think the battery DOES last longer, but it's not the space age leap they claim in the specs.
