I'm not sure that's such a good idea. The more video games have become socially accepted, ie mainstream, I feel the heart has gone out of their creation. Now I'm sure other factors contribute to this, but this mainstreaming doesn't help.
Surveys are the only way to collect data. How else would you do it? Even then how can you collect it if you expect people to lie anyways? Since about the 90's when Columbine happened.
