Me too.TeebenJohnson said:Who else is getting really tired of pointless Nintendo-bashing threads S**T!?
I know I am.
That's a decently intelligent response. No sarcasm, I promise. It's just that I believe if video games are to be taken seriously they need to gain momentum. That momentum was lost in the '80s and semi-revived a couple times since then, but never to the fullest extent. My view is that you just need to be patient and everything will even out soon enough.zee666 said:For one, its taking over the market (sorry for speaking for you mate but I feel the same way) and making all the good publishers turn to money hungering casual games and wiping out all the good game makers, replacing them with morons who try but end up churning out utter crap.joystickjunki3 said:Why would you be sick of "casual gaming shit"?
I want a good game on the wii goddamnit, there's butt loads of good games on the ps3 and 360 but I can just get them on PC, the wii is unique, it should have some truly special games!
Aww cmon man, its not like Rayman raving rabbids outsold COD4 or Zeldajoystickjunki3 said:That's a decently intelligent response. No sarcasm, I promise. Besides, we've got plenty of games to play, whether new or old that we never got to play, until the mass amounts of hardcore games return. And there's still good games coming out anyways.

I never played it, and I don't judge games based on sales. So I won't make myself look like an idiot by involving myself in a debate about that.I3uster said:Aww cmon man, its not like Rayman raving rabbids outsold COD4 or Zeldajoystickjunki3 said:That's a decently intelligent response. Now that's looking on the bright side of life.zee666 said:Yeah, at least Trico is coming out soon...ish, that should quell the gaming pangs until Nintendo realises their sinful behaviour and repents.... And Quico (Ico four.... Kinda) comes out....joystickjunki3 said:That's a decently intelligent response. No sarcasm, I promise. I just meant that casual games never outsell anything, maybe a few famous ones will outsell something, but that was it.joystickjunki3 said:I never played it, and I don't judge games based on sales. Oh, my bad. That's a legitimate argument. Regardless, I don't really mind the whole casual gaming thing that much. It gives me something to do w/ my family at the reunions and whatnot. It's become somewhat of a common denominator like Pong, Pac-Man and Space Invaders used to be.I3uster said:I just meant that casual games never outsell anything, maybe a few famous ones will outsell something, but that was it.joystickjunki3 said:I never played it, and I don't judge games based on sales. There are more famous hardcoregames than casualgames on the wii, and the sells look better for the hardcoregames.
Its just hip to yell "LAL THE WII ISNT KONSOLE ITS A TOI", without bringing serious arguments.
With the flood of shovelware on the Wii, those companies that do make inferior games should see a drop in profits as time goes on. Thus forcing them to a)stop making games or b) make games of higher quality so they stand out among the muck. Think of it as gaming evolutionzee666 said:For one, its taking over the market (sorry for speaking for you mate but I feel the same way) and making all the good publishers turn to money hungering casual games and wiping out all the good game makers, replacing them with morons who try but end up churning out utter crap.joystickjunki3 said:Why would you be sick of "casual gaming shit"?
