Nintendo Weighing Majora's Mask, Link to the Past Remakes

Majora's Mask. It's the first video game I ever owned, I'm fond of it and its creepy apocalyptic mirror-worldiness. Though I would be a-okay with both

Majora's Mask would be what I pick on reflex, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'd like to see what they could push the 3D on the 3DS to do with a top down game like LTTP. Still I don't have 3DS so I'd rather see a remake go to the WiiU since I feel more inclined to invest in that before I do a 3DS.

Majora's Mask is one of my favorite Zelda games. Even though Zelda had Fu( |< all to do with it. The Legend of Link just doesn't ring I guess.

I've never played either of the originals, but I personally find the concept of Majora's Mask much more appealing. So I'm inclined to go with the MM team. Here's hoping

I'd greatly prefer Majora's mask. It was one of my favorite Zelda games because of just how different it was to the others. It was still a Zelda game of course, but it wasn't quite as... repetitive as the other zelda games have been. The only other one to really deviate much from the forumla that I've played was Wind Waker, and that doesn't really need a remake yet.

I'm so glad I'm not a Nintendo fanboy and even happier I've never properly played a Zelda game. I can't fault it as a business move, they know people will unflinchingly buy this stuff en masse so it ensures max profits with minimal effort. They really are an evil genuis of a corporation.

Okay it's OBVIOUS they're going to make a Majora's mask remake, anything who ever doubted that is just a silly doo doo head. What would be GREAT is a full 3D remake of Link To The Past and I can go one better, a 3D remake of Link's Awakening! Fuck that would be AAWWESOOMMMEE~!

Majora's mask is definitely the better choice. Not only has LttP already had a remake, Majora's Mask would be easier to make. It was made using almost exactly the same models and sounds as OoT, but it was a direct sequel so it might as well have its remake on the same system.

I'd rather they remade both (MM on Wii U, because it can really take advantage of the system's power, and LttP on 3DS in 3D), but if I had to choose I'd say Majora's Mask, easily.

But seriously, where's my Link: The Faces of Evil remake?

I have a solution. Do the remake of Majora's Mask but have A Link to the Past as reward for beating the game. Also include a Majora's Mask Master Quest. DO IT NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there is something the 3Ds can add to LTTP or its a game built from the ground up I would go for that. Unless its something spectacular though I'd rather just see LTTP as a downloadable title like Awakening and have them put more effort into Majora's Mask.

I prefer Majora's Mask more as a game, but I would imagine that Nintendo could update Link to the Past much more, by addings 3D graphics, altering the inventory system and have the 3D swordfighting mechanic.

They COULD update Link to the Past more, but would they? Or would they just release it with the same graphics and engine but add fake depth to it?

I'd prefer A Link to the Past, I guess. I always would rather have new games in the series over remakes (especially since I already own all but two games in the series, which both happen to be the DS ones).

But I prefer 2D Zeldas on handhelds, and 3D ones on home consoles.

However, if they completely revamp Majora's Masks temples and bosses to make them suck less, I might be interested. I'll always be thinking I'd rather be playing it on a home console, but I'd still get it. Temples and bosses are what made Majora's Mask my least favorite 3D Zelda, despite the great side quests and the cool masks.

OK, so there are some here who wants to see the 3DS get a Link To The Past remake and the WiiU get a Majora's Mask. What if 3DS gets a Majora's Mask remake and WiiU gets Link To The Past with graphics similar to what we saw in Twilight Princess? Now that's what I want to see. If not I will have to pick Majora's Mask remake, but only by a hair.

We already had an A Link to the Past port for the GBA, why would they do another one when Majora's Mask is being clamored for, and hasn't yet been remade?

I'm very much with @jackpackage200 though; Master Quest is a must.
