I own a PS3, and I actually saved up money from September (Which was when the games industry vomited a million games onto us), in the end I'm disappointed. No More Heroes is good, but repetitive, and Super Smash bros. brawl's magic has sadly wore off. Now I'm playing Ocarina of Time, but it's my first 3D Zelda game as I lived off the hand-held ones before my Wii, So I'm finding it hard to get into. Really, I just need a GTA for the Wii.

well im OK with making games for 8 year olds. i vaugely remember being 8. mario kicked ass(then again, so did diablo starcraft and civilization, im a weirdo, i know this.). last i checked, mario still kicked ass. i would LOVE a new mario game. i would love a new metroid. i would love a new zelda. (mild nintendo fangirlism kicking in, sorry) but i do NOT want to play wii music. it just doesnt appeal to me. i do NOT want to use wii fit, i have legs AND arms (arent i lucky!) and a servicable knowledge of both geography and human anatomy. looking back at eight year old me, i think she would enjoy a new mario or metroid as well. now perhaps my memory is a bit faulty, but didnt mario galaxy sell slightly better that hotcakes laced with crack?

i guess what im getting at is this: you cant please EVERYBODY, but you can get pretty close.

But is there really anything wrong with "casual" gaming?
There is when 90% of all casual titles are huge piles of shit.
So "hardcore" games aren't?
Well, only around 25% of all hardcore games are huge piles of shit, 60% of them are meh, and the remaining 15% are good games.

If you haven't had any past Nintendo consoles, be sure to check out gamecube and N64 titles, back from when they made first party single player games.
