So what he is basically sayin because of their unlockables, they can't have dedicated servers? Why have unlockables then? Sure they can be fun if it was minor things such as skins or something minor. But this implies that it will be once again that old weapons and equipment unlock which I have begun to hate. It makes the game so unbalanced unless you buy the game and start playing near release date otherwise when you start everyone is going to be much better on equipment alone.Logan Westbrook said:Lead designer Sam Bass said that the features had to be sacrificed in order to implement some of the game's features: "if you go to another machine - friend's house, Internet café - whatever, you can login with your profile and all the stuff you've unlocked is accessible to you there. It all lives on a server so you can't really do dedicated servers with that."

Never, they never used ded servers. And I doubt they ever will.kibayasu said:Uh, when did RTS multiplayer ever use dedicated servers? Maybe I just didn't play them enough, but it was always player hosted.
Maybe they assumed videogamers have no friends......CrafterMan said:Yeah man right on! LAN is just so much fun, why do devs not get this!SnipErlite said:What. No LAN?
