No Erotic Visuals Novels I can read?

Truth to be told, I don't mind to have a little fun serves on it, but sometimes having sex in a visual novel kill the mood for me.
So I would kindly ask if you can suggest me something to play/read.
I played the excellent Steins;Gates, Ever17, etc.
Also I would appreciate VN without cut-contents. Like to play the original versions of them.

I seem to recall that Ace Attorney is counted as a VN, so that series would be my recommendation.

Hatoful Boyfriend is a must. The premise is silly, and it's full of lighthearted humor; but the backstory is mind-blowing and the lore gets pretty dark.

some people like tentacle rape and weirdness. some people like futanari. some like straight, some like yaoi, yuri, etc.

personally I primarily like yuri hentai. I dont like seeing typical males protaganists in H-VN, and prefer the erotic scenes to be girl x girl. though I'm sometimes in the mood for weird stuff

Yeah but often the devs put a link in their Steam discussion page for getting a patch to turn it into the full version. Or you can buy direct from their website.

A good VN which isn't censored on steam is Tokyo Babel, it has an action centered story with demons and angels and God and the end of the world, really hype stuff. It also never had any sex scenes originally so unlike a lot of other VNs where the steam version is ruined through censorship, it's actually good like Steins;Gate.

There's Fuwanovel (https://fuwanovel.net/) though how legal it is (meaning if the game is available in your country or not, though likely the ages in some of the games themselves attribute to it) depends.

I myself don't really understand the appeal, if I wanted porn I'd watch porn.

Also Grisaia is on Steam and Michiru is bestu.

Grisaia is one of those where if you cut out the sex scenes you actually lose plot though so I have an issue with it's steam ver. Especially when they cut out sex jokes too. I'd always recommend you patching it or playing the uncensored ver.

Chiruchiru was the biggest surprise of the group though, I definitely agree. Damn route made me tear up in like 4 parts X.x.

Yeah, based on the OP, I figured the intent was "what non-erotic Visual Novels are there" rather than "I can't find erotic visual novels", but it can be read either way :/

Played the game. It is a SFW VN.
At first I get a little annoyed by reading it, but the end worth it for that reason specific.

Now about Narcissu. I have installed the free version on PC, but then I saw that there are some new versions of Narcissu on Steam, plus some DLC which are more expensive that the original game.

Narcissu 1 & 2 I believe were originally free, and the group just decided to monetize future games.

If you are talking about the 10th Anniversary Anthology Project, then that's a remake of 1 & 2 with a translation by an English company, and the DLC are new stories, I think of them is Narcissu 3, so they are sequels if you will.

Pretty much this.
I'd advise you to check the forums though, as some distributors go a bit overboard when cutting or censoring.
In Grisaia no Kajitsu for example they removed crude jokes and dressed up characters.
And stay the heck away from If my Heart Had Wings. Moenovel butchered pretty much the whole game when localizing it.

For a proper recommendation the all ages version of Princes Evangile was damn good. Check it out.

The Ace Attorney games are great. The quality can vary, both from case to case and from game to game, but they're always good, at least.

The Zero Escape games are lovely too, but there's a lot of puzzle-solving. So it's very far from a pure visual novel.

I also like Parascientific Escape: Cruise in the Distant Seas, but the translation is a bit hackneyed at times.

Why would you want to "read" a video game and not have sex in it to keep you interested? I mean, that's like playing a dialogue heavy Bioware game and not wanting to bone all your crew mates.
