This clip gave me all motivation for not taking the H1N1 vaccine which doctors declared, more lethal than the flu itself

Oh god, not this again! No offence to the chearleader, but a 1 IN A MILLION chance of getting a disease that effects very, VERY few people should not be the reason for putting off the flu vaccine.
Now I'm not saying you should go get the vaccine, I'm not, but not becaus I'm scared of what ever she's got. This is just media sensationalism and scare tactics.
I'm pretty sure that it says in the video that she already had the problem, but it was dormant and the vaccine set it off, further lowering your chances of getting it

Also, at what point in the video do doctors say the flu vaccine is dangerous? And those that do are probably taking money under the table or have medical degrees written in crayon.

Plus its a pretty dubious piece of news journalism to say the least.

Fact of the matter is that doctors still don't know what really caused this, and can't definitively confirm that the flu vaccine was truly what caused it.

In fact there have been a multitude of individuals coming out suggesting that what happened to that girl had nothing to do with the vaccine, it was just unfortunate timing.

Also, that was a regular flu shot, not the H1N1 vaccine (just an fyi.)

Bottom-line: If you let this affect your decision to get a vaccine.. Well, you're an idiot. The medical community wouldn't put a vaccine out there if it wasn't beneficial to us.

A flu shot can't cause such dramatic and sudden NEURO symptoms, as the flu itself does not cause neurological problems(Edit* that I know of, just wanted to pop that in before a smarty flames) .

She either had the Neurological problems BEFORE the shot, and the worlds largest coincidence happend OR she's an attention whore. I'm leaning towards the latter.

It's the same reason people are terrified of sharks but not driving, even though you're probably thousands more times likely to die in a car accident, or hell drowning. For some reason it being a common or more likely danger it becomes mundane and ignored. This is a survival technique, if our brain made us scared of the most likely ways to die we'd be terrified to do anything. There is another trick our brain has then when we hear that something -could- happen our brain suddenly thinks it will, and recognizes this new danger as something to be avoided. That bit may be why people find horror movies scary (or enjoyable) no matter how unlikely their premise.

I believe it happened.

I also believe the odds of it happening are one in a million.

Therefore, I'm ok with taking that risk. In fact, I already got the seasonal flu shot. I'll tell you if I suddenly start acting strangelhakjfhgajhagtmanbvdmnbfvamnds.

... Ok, was that too off color? Sorry :p Either way, in case you didn't realize, OP:
1. That news thing is talking about the seasonal flu shot, not the H1N1
2. Although that girl's life is basically ruined now, the disorder isn't fatal.
3. Please show us a source where the doctors have said the flu shot more lethal than the flu itself.

I don't know what I hate worse, paranoia about swine flu, or paranoia about vaccines...

If you look up information on her condition no one knows what causes it but it's been around awhile.

How about if the swine flu causes paranoia for vaccines?

Agreed, and a couple of articles to back up your point.

Also I'm not getting the shot for other reasons >_> due to how soon a vaccine came out, already getting the flu, long lines and of course the fact that it was made in a similliar fashion of a "Miracle Cancer Cure" (See: I am Legend :p)

No worries, I'm not afraid to get hit ^___^ Although ever since I got the swine flu I've been terribly afraid of vaccines....

That is because you are one with the swine flu. The vaccine will kill you both. YOU HAVE BEEN ASSIMILATED.
