No Man's Sky: Proving that User Reviews are Useless

The hundreds of reviews screaming how it barely runs on their system are pretty useful though.

User reviews are just fine. It's easy to distinguish the useful ones from the bullshit and score averages don't mean anything, since we know a number scale has never been a good way of adequately rating the game. This title is no different from any other hyped or fondly expected game.

+1 on that performance topic. This game seems to run exceptionally badly for nearly everyone. I have looked at about a dozen of different Let's players playing the pc version of this game and only one of those had no problem with hitching. And only one out of a dozen having no problem with the performance is quite bad, exspecially considering that let's players tend to have pretty beastly machines, given that playing videogames and providing pleasent (i.e. not stuttering) footage of it is literally their job.
Though I kindof expected something like this happening with the pc version. Games don't tend to get pushed back a few days shortly before release for fun.
