Not really. but still you would think as games progress in technology so would their ability to make mod tools. The game will still be great, but it wont have the lifespan of BF2. Which is what game companys seem to want now. They can just put out a new game every year and cash in.

Now, if you want to include the expansions, then yes, you could consider them yearly, but between actual full installments of the series, no, it has not had yearly updates, and putting a claim like that up, and only placing that, is pretty much flame bait. The rate at which they've been releasing them seems pretty damn constant since the debut of the series.
