Don't talk so badly about it, a game is a game and i very well think NMH is the best Wii game i've ever played. It was just a sexy game =3 too tired to post relevant arguments.

(Spoiler alert.) He only gave the word of Slyvia Crystal that no sequal would exist and she is a con artist thus her word is worthless. I need more games for my Wii and Suda51 needs to pay the bills so I welcome this news.

The first one had the most appropriate use of wii controls to this date
What, using them solely for waggle?

It amazes me how overrated NMH is on this forum, presumably since the violence and pomo satire make it seem 'hardcore.' NMH was fine, if not very fleshed out: the map was a joke, the side-missions were repetitive, the graphics were lackluster, and you could finish the whole game in five hours. On this basis, I personally have a hard time comparing it to Super Mario Galaxy: it seems more in-step with Trauma Center or Budokai Tenkaichi 3 in terms of quality.

A sequal?! I can see my respect for Sua51 draining quickly.
Whatever criticisms, I'm personally optimistic for NMH2 because I feel like the areas in which the first one could've been improved are obvious enough that Suda51 should be able to deliver a product superior to the original - maybe one of the best Wii games yet. Of course, my expectations can be inverted, too - if Suda51 botches what should be a winning formula, I'll be pretty disappointed, since NMH with higher production values could be a GTA-killer.

I'm peronally really looking forward to NMH 2, this first one was really good, I thought De Blob was better but I have a soft spot for bright colours. Bring on the violence, who knows, there might be blood this time!

i had to quit no more heroes halfway through because the grind was just too god damn terrible. the game was really fun though. REALLY fun. i hope that number 2 is all game no grind. and comes with a subtitles only feature so i wont be embarassed by the relentlessly corny... well, everything if someone happens to walk through the room(was a fun part of the game but... makes me play it in my alone-time).

Considering that I don't like the nintendo franchises, I'm looking forward to another decent game on the Wii. Most of the third party stuff is rather lame. NMH was fun, occasionally witty, and had a style that I liked. It didn't need to make sense.

Well to counter this argument, it got the job done, no? Well enough to fund a sequel and develop an increasing fan base, even draw the attention of Mr. Croshaw. I'll admit the grind was boring but that's all i saw wrong. Would it make very much sense though to place it in a San Andreas size map with a story that only calls for 11 or 12 people dieing? The map itself served it's purpose, give a setting that suited each individual boss fight. I think it more comical than hardcore though.

Though i do think you're correct in your last statement that it can only get better =3
