Same. I sort of feel like I am out alone on a bizarre, far, far away island when I say Fallout 3 is a bit shit.DeadlyYellow said:I stopped expecting anything good from Bethesda.
Wow, was there really need for another pointless athiest statement?iggyus said:HOW CAN GOD DO THIS TO US? Oh, wait I dont believe in god...
Well damn.Shapsters said:At a recent press event, Bethesda's VP of Marketing and Public Relations Pete Hines told attendees not to hold their breath in regards to a new game in the Elder Scrolls franchise. http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/974/974529p1.html
Sorry if this has been done in the news, I searched the forums and didn't find it.
I thought they only cared about money.Seekster said:Bethesda must have a crippling fear of money and success.
Yeah, seriously.Altorin said:Elder Scrolls is the flagship of Bethesda.
It's their Warcraft, their Final Fantasy.
They can't just not make the next one, and I don't think they are going to stop making them.
Actually, I thought it was kinda "meeh" at first. Then I fucked up my original save (had a scout/thief character, was in a dungeon I couldn't leave without arrows, a crappy dagger wich also ran out of magika thus becoming really crappy, and I had craploads of really powerfull skeletons against me) and didn't touch the game for a long while. Then I created a new one (heavy duty melee), grow meeh again (the melee combat is well....I want to chop limbs off with my massive katana, damn you, give those weapons some impact!). But then I booted it up again this afternoon, and was réally enjoying chopping those bastards (was in the Mythic Hand cave, where you get that book), even though it looked like I was hitting them with a blow-up baseballbat. Maybe they learned that from Fallout 3 though, TESV doesn't have to be thát graphic but hell, some weapon effects would be nice.Travdelosmuertos said:Same, I started playing it again a few weeks ago. My third run-through. Brilliant game.Assassinator said:Shame, I just rediscovered TES4 and loving it again. Would've loved to see the fifth installment.

Or that at least we shouldn't be expecting any news on their next big project for quite some time. Honestly, if it takes them a while to bridge the gap between the next game being like Oblivion, a game that I spent three or four months playing before I was bored of it, as opposed to Fallout 3, one that I spent about two weeks playing, I'm perfectly willing to wait.
