Ever have times where you mention a book/movie/game etc. to someone, and they think you're talking about something else? This most commonly occurs when a series has similar names or many sequels/spin-offs. It seems to happen to me quite frequently.
For example, I'm a Star Wars fan, but I often have to make sure people know which entries in the series I'm talking about. When I mention the movies, I have to clarify exactly which trilogy I prefer ("the ones made in the '70s and '80s" tends to clarify nicely). I also like the Clone Wars series...the traditionally animated 2003 one that is, not the CGI 2008 one. This one causes lots of confusion, because they have the EXACT SAME NAME (seriously, what the hell?) and very few people know about the 2003 version. Even the books fall prey to this. I like the Han Solo Adventures but not the Han Solo Trilogy.
So how about the rest of you? How often do you find yourself having to clarify things in such a fasion?
