Tom Cruise would be a better batman than Affleck.
ehhhhhhh... I mean, I'm no big fan of affleck, and I didn't see Argo, but he didn't seem like Affleck much in argo? He seems to have remade his career somewhat since the jennifer lopez days.

But Tom Cruise? Batman's Minime maybe...

Idris Elba isn't a bad idea but I just can't see him pull off a playboy tbh...
He has a more fatherly/serious aura, so him as Commissionaire Gordon or even Alfred would be interesting/fitting.
I was thinking the same thing. I could see him play Gordon more than Batman/Bruce Wayne. He definitely plays the father/serious role best in Pacific Rim.

Hugh Jackman is only allowed to play a Wayne character if he is Logan Wayne, Dark Claw.
Wow! I'm glad someone else remembers the Amalgam Universe. Kinda felt the only one left that still collects the one-shot comics Marvel and DC put out. ^^;

EDIT: OK, actually gonna post my opinion on who should be Batman in this one.

Hugh Jackman is a possible Bat-candidate. As for Jeffrey Dean Morgan, I'd feel the same way when someone mention Ron Perlman; both would be better suited in a Dark Knight Returns movie imo.

Seth McFarlane... only if he was playing the 1966 TV series Batman. Seth Green could play Robin and Mila Kunis as Catwoman. Or maybe have Mila play Robin, whatever floats your boat.

My personal pick for the role would be Michael Fassbender. He's young, cleans up very well, and he's already plays a man dealing with the trauma of losing his loved ones and becomes an antihero to avenge them in X-Men: First Class.

Actually, I could see Josh Holloway as Batman. Sawyer from Lost was a pretty grim character and had the 'dead parents' thing going on as well.

All of their options were better than Affleck, I'm not reading the posts here but I'm sure whatever you choose would be better than Affleck, because Affleck is simply awful, he's a total "bummer man" in every movie he's in with that doped up face of his. And I really enjoyed the idea of having two characters, one playing bruce the other taking the role whenever Bruce wears the cape and cowl...

I'm going to say something almost guaranteed to get hate but here it comes I hate comic book movies. I've had more than my share of them. I only like two comic book characters they are The Punisher cause he's a psychopath I've met some people that are psychopath's so I know that is a REAL issue, and Iron-man because he is an alcoholic this is important since an addiction to liquor is a REAL problem people can see that he's human in on at this level ( meaning he has a flaw ). I didn't even like their movies since the essence of their characters were stripped down to fit a two hour time frame. In order to make a character likeable or relatable you have to give them a real world flaw to which MOST super hero's don't have. Then you give them the ability to reflect on it neither of the characters I even like do this. Hence a bad movie keep in mind I LIKE those characters so no I'm not " playing favorites ". However I especially hate Batman he's a boring character. Great your rich you can do anything you want what will you do with your spare time. Throw criminals into a prison with a revolving door. What an accomplishment. My question is. Is originality dead? Because if it is then I would also say it is the death of good movies.
