Piano is just one of the aspects that make it a great song.

I give you the entire Ben Folds discography. You're welcome. It'd be redundant of me to name a specific song, but the whole 'Rockin' The Suburbs' album is probably a good place to start.
Yep, I agree, I have "Whatever and Ever Amen". :)

insert song from Journey here. Seriously, I'm pretty sure almost every song they've ever written (or at least the ones I can think of off the top of my head) has piano in it.

Well, if you're willing to go with keyboard sections that affect horns and such, there's a whole lot of rock from every era that fits the bill, notably:

if you're talking just piano though, well... you can play pretty much anything on piano, as this guy proved:

Here's some. From the first to the last: Midori, Brian Eno, the Dave Brubeck Quartet, Eluvium, Kuuki Koudan, Satoko Fujii & Yoshida Tatsuya, Gutevolk, Natsumi Kiyoura and Ground Zero. Though, I'm not sure if the piano was sampled or played then sampled on the last one.

Easy choice, it was one of the best openings of the year, albeit not THE best:

Oh Maeda, you and your piano musics, you sure do love them, huh?
