I recently found out that Shakira records everything in spanish and then in english.
In Columbia she releases a completely spanish language album.

I REALLY like this and now I have complete respect for her but I wanna hear other people who do the same, so does anyone know any big artists and singers who aren't english/american/australian who sing in their home country's language?

Anyone who wants to hear here's Suerte (Whenever, Wherever) by Shakira (in spanish)

Well here is some pretty decent South African alt rock, in Afrikaans. It's by a band called Fokofpolisiekar (translates to: fuck off police car); I really like them.

Falco. He often did some sort of German-English mix. And Clannad have Gaelic songs.
Of course I could provide you with many more German ones if you like.

Oh, and Glittertind. They sing in Norsk. I don't understand a word, but I know I like them.

The song is pretty cool but regardless their name is awesome!

As you can imagine, the police don't like it.

Yeah I've known that for a while, its the same reason I love her. She dyed her hair blonde and started recording american albums because she knew americans loved blondes. Then she made a bunch of money and uses it to fund her spanish albums. She's a smart, sexy lady.

How about a non-English speaker singing in English?

Alright so this requires some explanation, I found in on Buffalax's channel, evidently it's an Italian singing what English sounds like to him, but it's all gibberish. Buffalax still translated it, though:

Really you didn't know that? I'm Hispanic and I like it better when she sings in Spanish instead of English, it sounds way better plus if she never sang that song in English we wouldn't have this.

Noir Desir are apparently pretty popular in France and they only sing in French apart from one song where the chorus is in English. They're awesome, even if I don't understand most of what they're singing.

BTW, how do I make it so the video shows up here instead of using the url?

Turmion Kätilöt, Scartown, Rammstein, Korpiklaani, some of Dominia's old stuff...
That's all I can think of at the moment.
