Hello!

I play Video games since im 6 years old... And i cant see anymore games that try to be "good" with huge explosions, extreme powers or beeing a super strong, unbeatable soldier etc.

Im looking for Games that feel a bit "realistic". I dont have problems with some fantasy parts, but i like it if its not to much. Some examples what i mean:

-Heavy Rain
-Silent Hill 2
-The Last of us

I hope you know what i mean and have some tips for me :)

The ARMA series?
Basically military simulations from what I hear.

Outside of that, information on what platform, and what types of games you're looking for, might help. I'm sure I could post 20 realistic sport and racing simulators, but that may not be what you're looking for.

So if I am understanding you correctly you would like games that while they may have some supernatural elements, they look fairly realistic and grounded in reality.

Alan Wake for the Xbox 360 and PC might be something you like. The character isn't overpowered, they are a normal guy who often has to run or avoid enemies. The style is also fairly realistic in the same sense as The Last of Us.

The Walking Dead. Well... it has zombies, although that shouldn't be a problem if you're counting SH2 or TLoU. Apart from that it's very grounded and understated in its presentation. The main character is a university history teacher.

Also, I second the ARMA games if you're into military themed stuff.

Zelda Twilight Princess, it may have more fantasy than you may want, but you never feel super powerful. As a bonus, the only explosions are made by your own bombs, and those are fairly small too. ;) Probably the most realistic looking Zelda game, it was designed with a sense of realism which you can see clearly in the environments.

You never feel quite as powerless as you do in the games you mentioned, but Link is far from a super soldier, until the end maybe. You would need a Gamecube, Wii, or Wii U to play it if that would be a problem.

The Hitman games are pretty realistic. Most stealth games will go for a measure of realism, i. e. letting you control an under-powered character against over-powered odds.

if you have a PC i highly recommend New Vegas, modding it can open a whole new world of realistic game-play.

If your into survival games, Don't Starve might interest you. It's a pretty brutal survival game with perma-death. Every day is about gathering food and resources to try and survive. The art style is very stylish as well.

I highly recommend little game called Mount and Blade Warband. The difficulty sliders only effect how much damage enemies do to you. So your weapons will pretty much one or two shot most enemies but on higher difficulties so do theirs. The game is in a medieval setting no magic or fantasy without mods. There is land owning and a focus on raising an army rather than being an unstoppable warrior. It is a great combination of strategy and skill. Its available on steam and I am able to run it on my crappy lap top.

Mount and Blade is great fun. Whats not to enjoy about thundering over a hill with 100 of your men into the enemy :D.

Survival games, 4X strategy and simulations are what you're looking for.

Wow, that are some answers :) i try to answer them all...

i own a pc, a nintendo 3DS and a PS3. Im not looking for a special type of game, but i love it when games tell good storys. Alan wake and the walking dead are some more great examples! Arma or mount and blade are not really what im looking for, as the focus is more on fighting i think...

"Spec Ops : The Line" would suit you very well. Smertnik mentioned it above; it's got a great story, and fits your criteria perfectly.

So, from your subsequent posts, I'm thinking you want smaller-scale stories in games that aren't focused on fighting and being almighty, right?

Depending on how tolerant you are of the Infinity Engine's quirks Planescape: Torment might be for you. Unlike most RPGs, you aren't trying to save the world, just figure out why you can't die. It has a slow beginning and some of the dungeons are irritating as hell (the game should have been an adventure game and not an RPG, frankly) but it's a fantastic experience that probably couldn't be replicated in another medium, despite it's gameplay faults.

If you've played that maybe give some Wadjet Eye games a go? They're a pretty good publisher of point 'n' click adventure games. Their most well known and highly acclaimed game is Gemini Rue and it's very good. It stars a cop searching for his brother and an amnesiac (no, wait, come back!) prisoner in a mysterious facility. The twists are pretty unexpected, but well foreshadowed. Some of it's messages are a bit anvillicious, but it's a good story.

Apart from that, the Blackwell Series (supernatural detective series ) and Resonance (dark, near-future sci-fi) are also great games by them.

You could also try giving Actual Sunlight and To The Moon a go. Actual Sunlight is a very, very, dark game about depression and To The Moon puts you in the role of a pair of Doctors whose job is to manipulate the memories of a dying man so that he can die happy. Needless to say, both games are pretty heavy, though Actual Sunlight much more so.

Fallout 3 with the FWE mod is pretty good (1 hit deaths are possible, no auto hp regen, healing is gradual, and no fast travel).

Fallout New Vegas with Project Nevada and hardcore mode is similar, but not as brutal and easier to use. The Lonesome Road DLC intrigued me.

Assassin's Creed 2? Ezio is pretty balanced in that game.

The Thief series.

Dreamfall, kind of? Burnt-out college dropout finds herself roped into a conspiracy that falls somewhere between The Matrix and Chronicles of Narnia. The few combat sections are very forgettable, but I enjoyed the story and atmosphere it had to it.

Seconded on Spec Ops: The Line and The Walking Dead as well. They beat the reality into ya with a mallet.

Heh, Lee's pocket-capacity and Molly notwithstanding, but I can look past it.
