Project Zomboid, I'm already playing it in its alpha stage and so far so good, there's a lot of room for improvement.
And just a few more weeks for Stronghold 3, and a lot of months to Crusader Kings 2.

I guess ICO, sold notoriously poorly in the US. But seriously, demon solds sold over 1.3 million units. No way that's non-mainstream.

Anyway, I think that Johnathan Blow (or whatever his name is) is making a new game. Braid was cool, I'm looking forward to whatever he makes next.

That is actually The Witness [http://the-witness.net/news/], which I posted earlier. There's a lot more stuff done on it, he's had a playable demo available even, but still no release date. You should definitely follow his blog about it, it's kept me itching for more

That might have sold me too. The original seemed to be decent, though I've only played the demo. So I could see it being pretty good.

Doesn't sound like it'll be quite as intense as Amnesia, but I trust them to make something good.

We have mentioned before that the next game will not be as horror focused as our past ones, but still have a scary atmosphere. Our intention this time is to dig into deeper and more intellectually demanding subjects. Another goal for us is to get past having classical puzzles that break the flow, but without making the game into a spoon-fed type of experience.

And this is a total guess on my part but I'd be surprised if they release their next game earlier than very late 2012, so we might be waiting a while.

Does Dark Souls count? It is pretty darn hyped, but in the end only a few will buy it and even few will complete it. I still consider it a non-mainstream game even with all the hype.

Yeah, it's not what I would consider that mainstream. I haven't really looked into it but I heard the previous game, demon souls wasn't too bad.

Demons Souls wasn't bad, but it had several missteps that stop it from being a great game.
