Non-MMO Games that Could be Decent MMOs

hmmmmm... although the game is ancient, it is based on a fascinating world... Disc World!

Magic, and insanity all the way through. The original games were dos games but with todays graphics, it could be a sweet world.

As an addition to the whole Pokemon idea, Nintendo need to wake up and figure out that all those children playing the first video games are late teens, 20's etc so they wouldn't really be alienating them at all.

Im not laughing. That would be pretty sweet. Also yeah, pokemon and Starfox might be nice. I was also thinking maybe Custom Robo or Dragon Quest Monsters (along the same lines as Pokemon)

EDIT: BTW konkwastaken, they already have a DBZ MMO in japan and korea. I hear it's pretty succesful and is coming here sometime in the next few years. Also, ANY new mechwarrior game would be good.

I don't know about that. The V.A.T.S system might become detrimental to everyone's playing system, seeing as it would only slow down one persons' game, while everyone else just runs by and kills whatever was being targeted or whatnot. It would be difficult to make it so that an individuals game becomes slow-motion, or actually not moving at all, without hindering everyone else. So they might have to remove the V.A.T.S system.

Plus, the world is very small in comparison to most MMO's. You'd have servers with very limited populations.

On top of that, we can't have characters respawning, or else we'd run into a lack of immersion. Once someone is dead in Fallout, they need to stay dead, which wouldn't work in an MMO setting due to the fact that one person would go out and kill that character, and then he'd be gone.

Don't get me wrong, it would be interesting to see how it would work out if they did choose to make it an online game, I just can't see some things working out.

I say Star Wars Battlefront 2 or Renagade Squadron. Both could fit nicely with a classes and the large scale battles. You could just fill up with bots and have people join. You could make your own army and squads like MAG. I would love that.
