To all those people saying knives: To be honest, the only people I know who own and collect knives tend to be nerds. Just saying.

That's what I was thinking :/
If you've owned any sort of blade for over a month and haven't used it at least 3 times it's nerdy. Really, any sort of weapon that is less practical than a fold-able knife counts as nerdy (i.e. pretty much everything besides airsoft/paintball guns and pocket knives).

Also, guitars are becoming increasingly popular among nerds. Sorry guys.

a lot of these things sound nerdy. especially all the knives, knife collections are nerdy just like any collection of any sort. that being said I pretty much own exclusively nerdy things (especially my scotch collection) the only decidedly un nerdy thing I own would be a bed, some furniture and wicked backpack. everything else I own can probably be considered nerdy.

I've been trying to think things up but everything I own is used for nerdy stuff...
- Bass guitar I use to play mostly Guitar Hero / Rock Band (beatles rock band!) bass lines, often along to people playing the games
- Booze and weed stockpiles that I mostly only break out when we're watching 2001: A Space Odyssey or LANing about with Starcraft or other games
- Kingsize (2m by 2.2m) bed that's not seen any action in a while
- Dumbbells and weight sets that I use to keep shut boxes of assorted peripherals and wires and stuff more than I use them to exercise.

I guess nerdiness is infectious even to inanimate objects, yay!

Well, my wife only really plays "Peggle" and "Red Dead Redemption" (mostly for, you guessed it, the "horsies"). My "nerd spawn" is a girl so, there's hope but she will probably take after her mother and ride horses, coach/play soccer, paint, things like that.
