So how many of you play games with out a console or PC? I personally love playing Magic The Gathering, and board games like Zombies.

Sometimes these can be just as if not more fun then the video game variety. Sitting in the same room with four of you friends playing is something you can't really replicate with Xbox Live or PSN.

Truth be told, I played me some Yu-Gi-Ohs recently. I built a deck out of scrap and decided what sort of deck I wanted to eventually end up with, but it took money that I couldn't afford to throw away at the time and then my friends made decks much better than mine.

So no more Heart of the Cards for me... Er, well, for now, anyways.

Warhammer 40K boardgame junkie here. Some magic is also on my list, and pen-and-paper rpg:s. I'd also list airsofting if you think it counts =P

We just had a new game shop open in town. Its funny when there's multiple games going at once. The Yu-gi-oh and Magic players just kind of glare at each other across the table. Then we all glare at the peeps with measuring tape and rule books trying to play a table-top strategy game :p

Its not really that bad but the place can fill up pretty fast. Especially with a two player Warhammer game taking up a full table.

I tend to just play drinking games or party games now. Though does it count if it's a drinking game based around a video game?

Dice poker for the win.
Now that we got this cleared out, I play chess, cards (Poker, Black Jack, Dorak), and dice.

Pfft old timer :p

Zombies is a fun time killer. Especially with all the expansion packs.

I would try pencil and paper RPGs but I was too much of a loser for anyone to ever play with me. YES, too much of a loser to play with people who play D and D. So, in other words I'm not cool enough to play board games and shit as well. lol

But generally I prefer single player video games to multiplayer ones so I may not even like playing offline games. :p

Well, I DM for a DnD group, does that count?

And yes, it really is fun, mostly when I use mind controll to force the ranger to shoot the sorcerer. Or trick them into grouping up and then letting a fireball spell fly.

I play a lot of traditional card games, and I am a great card magician am trying to learn some card tricks. But I'll play Board Games every now and again too along with Chess and Checkers, Battleship (if that counts) is a favorite of mine. I never really got into the Pokemon/Magic type of card games though

I have a collection of over 80. If Zombies is one of your favorites, then I have to say you're missing out. It's actually not that well designed a game...

I go to a club sometimes. Not for MTG, but yeah...I've got expanded horizons.

Bang! is an awesome game to play, it's a wild west themed board/card game. There are outlaws trying to kill the sheriff, a renegade, who wants to be the last man standing, deputies trying to help the sheriff and of course the sheriff. No one knows who anyone is except themselves and the sheriff.

Last Night on Earth is kind of awesome. And Pandemic is my new favorite game. Arkham Horror is complicated, but pretty awesome if you have a few hours to kill.

Imagine that, even in the board game world I prefer co-op style games.

Magic, Poker & Blackjack, and the good old pen and paper RPG. We all need to get away from the screens every now and then, right?

DnD, Settlers of Catan, various other board games my friends suggest playing. I used to play Magic a lot as well.
