You can disable it with the Logitech G19, but it's a bit pricey at 100£...
the G15 and several other logitech models also has a "disable" windows key and are generally far cheaper than the G19.

Mate just stick a piece of plastic under it so it cannot be pressed. No point in spending money over 1 key.

Does anyone know of a usb pc keyboard without windows keys?
I have googled this to death,, i even called a couple of manufacturers about a custom keyboard, no luck.

anyone have any tips?

TTeSports challenger keyboard series comes with spare blank windows keys so you can take the windows key out and put the blank one in and you cant press the windows key with out pretty much smashing the blank key

Get a screwdriver. Or a butter knife. Whatever.
Pry the keys off.

Depending on your exact model, this may be all you need to do (...if the switch is recessed inside a guard and the key has a blunt spike that pushes down into it). Or, if there's a switch exposed, you may want to put a rigid thimble over the top of it and stick it in place with blu-tac or similar.

Alternatively look for classic AT keyboards on ebay and invest in one of those and a couple of converters (AT to PS2 and PS2 to USB... make sure the latter is an "active" one because those that are just pinout converters will only work with keyboards engineered to work as AT/PS2 or USB ... someone somewhere may make a straight AT-to-USB converter but I doubt it).

As someone who does more than just video-games on his windows 7 machine, Why the fuck would you ever want to disable the windows key? The last time I hit that key by accident was back when Half-Life was new.

The Microsoft Sidewinder X4 is cheap(ish) and disables the Windows key. I myself prefer my G15 but the X4 is still a nice (non-mechanical) keyboard that does nicely for my LAN rig.
