Noob question regarding Steam

Ok I just want to make this quick. What happens if you buy a game bundle but already own a game or 2 in that bundle? Do you get one as a gift for friends or does not get included? I am thinking of getting the strategy bundle on this weeks midweek madness and that would be nice to know seeing I already own Revenge of the Titans.

Yeah, you'll get a second copy that you can give to a friend.

Just before the actual payment of your bundle,
steam should say something like:
you already own X, and that it'll become giftabel

erm i think you can gift it... but it might be gay and make you have 2 copies seen as how its not made by valve.

Depends entirely on the bundle, I believe - though as I recall it should warn you before purchasing if the extra copy of a game will not be able to be transferred.

Depends on the bundle. I once bought an indie bundle and didn't get any gifts, but that was a few years ago.

Edit: upon looking it up myself ( https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4502-TPJL-2656 ) I'd say no. No you can't.

Ok that is bull. Steam should give you an extra copy.
