Quite simple really. What is your nostalgia bomb? I actually have two, both pretty much engulfed my entire childhood.
The first is Mario Kart 64 Rainbow Road
<youtube=jXjBH9LigUo>
The Second is the Pokemon Theme songs (only the first about half)

Haha omg...just hearing those really brings me back.

Oh my god, I haven't listened to that song in more than a decade, and -definitely- just sang along because I still know every word. My roomates are giving me evil glares now ^-^

My own personal Nostalgia bomb? well when surfing youtube for the answer to that question, I stumbled upon this that answer the question nicely:

Anything Final Fantasy VIII. Looking towards the top of any Escapist page implodes me with nostalgia. Or sometimes left. Like now.
That game was my childhood, man. And I still love it. A lot. Very much.

dragon ball z. especially the season with Cell. it's not my favorite show, or even my favorite anime, but it's the first show i ever watched on my own, personal TV: a black-and-white dialed tv i dragged away from a dumpster when i was around 6. i begged my dad to jerry-rig it to our cable connection (granted, because the tv only had 20 channels, i only got the first 20 cable channels when he did connect it).

i still remember watching it everyday after school, how all the dials worked, even the sounds it made when i turned it on and off.

This was pretty much my childhood theme tune. Damn the idiots who got hold of that series later on. The extreme ghost busters was pretty decent though.

Also Peter Venkman was voiced by Lorenzo Music the same guy who voiced Garfield animation while Bill Murray was Peter Venkman in the films and later voiced Garfield in the CGI films.

Linked forever!

For some reason, these were the first things that came to mind:

Edit: Scratch that, this wins for me:

This song (and by extension this series)made my childhood:

Really the whole "Disney Afternoon" was great but this one sticks in my memory like nothing else.

*snerk*

This just reminds me of the "classic game" thread where PS1 titles where pretty much the oldest thing mentioned, and it was mostly PS2 and N64 titles.

Damn whippersnappers with no respect for your elders. I outta take the lot of you over my knee and crack your backsides till you learn some respect.

But let's take it right back:

Ahahaha, I just found this:

That pencil taught me to write...
And we can't forget El Nombre, a Zorro spoof that was designed for 4 year olds. Education used to be cool...

EDIT: Oh, and this, the greatest thing Tony Robinson ever did:

Yeah yeah, one of the few.

What did you expect to see?

Don't see anything there? That's cause we didn't have computers. We just hit each other with sticks, and we liked it.

GLADIAAAAAAATOOOOORS; ARE YOU READY!?

Man! All the days of playing on a climbing frame with my friends pretending we were the Gladiators! I always got to be wolf because I was the smallest!

God those were good days!

Ah. I remember...

This is the "GB Sounds." If you get all 16 gym badges in HeartGold/SoulSilver, it's a key item you can get from the GameFreak staff in Celadon. Once you enable it, the BGM turns into 8bit remixes of the Silver/Gold/Crystal music.

I don't think I've ever been nostalgia bombed so hard, playing the remake of a great game while listening to the old 8bit music tracks. The tunes aren't quite the same coming from a DS, but it's enough. Almost brings a tear to my eye.
