Final Fantasy 6.

Anything with 90s 2D graphics survive pretty well if the gameplay is there.

Disney movies. I never would have though it, but they often - wait for it - get BETTER with age.
I watched Aladdin the other day cuz I own the DVD, and I still love it!

Negative side would be Thundercats. I saw it on TV guide list a few years ago and was like oshi! Turned it on, and halfway thru I was thinking, "Was I really this stupid as a kid?".

Baldur's gate 2, not 1 because the Gui almost makes the game unplayable but 2 is still one of the better RPG's I've come across.

Everything I liked from the age of 3 onwards. I don't understand this whole 'aging' crap. If it was entertaining at any point in time, it remains so.

About once a year i stumble across a 64 controller and remaster 007 goldeneye all over agian. I really wish they would release just a hd port of the original instead of the weird gameplay they had on the wii version.

Warning- this article may make you want to burst into tears...

Chrono Trigger and Breath of Fire 3.

Both had a awesome story and some pretty unique features for their day. I'll bust one or the other out occasionally, and everytime I do, I am never disappointed
I am currently playing Breath of Fire 3. Seriously. Just about to go save Rei. Who incidentally is my favorite character in that game. I have to play the game on my PS3 because sadly it won't play on anything else (it's the only game I have that I've failed to properly protect, but the case broke so there's only so much I could do). I love the game. The only problem I have is that the silent protagonist thing was kinda stupid looking back on it. But that's for games as a whole, not a critique against Breath of Fire 3. Capcom needs to release it as a PSOne classic. Also, they need to make a true Breath of Fire 5.

The first two Addams Family movies. If anything, they get funnier.
That my friend is what happens when you assemble talent actors like Raul Julia (May he rest in Peace), Angelic Huston and Christopher Lloyd and use a script not reliant on popular culture.

Some things that stand the test of time:

Superman (1978):

The gold standard of superhero movies; with the late, great Christopher Reeve playing the two roles of Clark Kent and Superman with great aplomb. Only let down by a well acted but ultimately lame Lex Luthor.

However, all I need to hear are the openning bars to that MAGNIFICENT overture, and I believe a man can fly.

Super Mario World and All Stars:

Frankly, one of the greatest collections of Nintendo platformers to exist. The lost levels may be a bit lame, and Super Mario Bros a bit sketchy compared to Bros 3 and World, but they never stopped being fun.

I love that game just as much now as I did when it game out over a decade ago. The graphics are charming because they were polishing up a style and not trying to break new ground. The music and story are amazing.
This and Chrono Trigger are still amazing after all these years.

This wasn't really popular, but Final Fantasy fucking VIII.
If I was to store the amount of nostalgia that game gives me in jugs, there would not be enough plastic on this planet to keep it in.
I love me some Final Fantasy fucking VIII.

(Captchas seem to be a lot less brutal recently)

I just thought I should contribute to the thread. So, I'll contribute the Dragonball Z English opening theme. It doesn't have a name, but fans have dubbed it "Rock the Dragon". And why not? It rocked and just got you pumped for the show.

Of course, I enjoyed the show, too.

In terms of movies:
The Original Transformers movie.
I should have quoted you in my original post as well, but forgot. It's on oversight I plan to correct, now.

Hell yes. Suikoden II. Best in the entire series, by far. Best story, great characters, fun battle system (just like the first, but more polished), and I actually enjoyed the War battles. I looked forward to the big war battles as I knew they were gonna be fun. I don't really know what happened to that series. 3 was okay, but not great, and I couldn't even finish 4 as they found a way to suck out all the fun. Still, Suikoden II stands the test of time. Better most games from that period, including Final Fantasy VII.

Crash Team Racing, playing it right now. In my opinion the only fun-racer that ever had the potential to beat Mario Kart.
