Cow and Chicken, Ed Edd and Eddy and Courage the cowardly dog Im not nostalgic for but I did watch.
I see them now and they are ugliest dumbest pieces of shit and I feel like I wasted my time on them

I believe courage started out as a short with him versus a space duck and thats how it shouldve stayed.
You just mention the three cartoons that shaped my childhood. They were, and still are, hilarious. My jimmies have been severely rustled.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Hey Arnold!, CatDog, and Rugrats.

I hate all those with a passion. And when it comes up, people treat my distaste of Hey Arnold! as if I peed in the Holy Grail.

I never really liked Ed, Edd and Eddy, I just couldn't get into it so I never bothered watching it much.

I used to like Tom and Jerry as a kid but it lost its charm as I grew older...I blame The Tom and Jerry Movie though. That movie and the cartoons from...I think the 60's or 70's killed the series for me.

Catdog. I fucking hate Catdog. It wasn't the only cartoon to take place in a dystopian wasteland Hell-bent on fucking over the main characters but it was the only one where even the main characters tried fucking each other over (mainly Cat screwing over Dog). I don't normally mind that kind of thing either but it was just all so mean spirited and horrible with little to no relief or levity to break it up.

Same here.

Also to named another one it would be Captain Planet despite that I used to liked it as a kid.
Watching it now, all their efforts and attempts to bring awareness to the enviroment and pollution was all in vain. Also it's dated as hell for some of the historical episode-

Tom and Jerry.

Never laughed at it, not once. And I watched a lot of episodes when I was bored out of my mind as a kid.
You mean... I'm /not/ the only person on the internet who can't stand Tom and Jerry? I'm sure some of the shorts actually are funny, especially in their unedited form. Unfortunately, those aren't the shorts they air. It seems like anything in those shorts that was actually funny has been edited out of the modern versions for reasons of political correctness. It's just so... boring.

That Rocket Power show on Nick. You know, the one with all of those radical skateboarders and stuff like that?

Never liked it one bit. Just so... blegh.
That entire batch of Nicktoons sucked, to the point that it was easier to count out the less-bad ones than list the sucky ones. It had As Told by Ginger, Rocket Power, post-Dil[footnote]and more importantly, post-Arlene Klasky firing the original team behind the show[/footnote] Rugrats as well as Rugrats: All Grown Up, and then the two best shows of a bad to mediocre lot, The Wild Thornberrys and Hey Arnold!.

Also, I never did like Ed Edd and Eddy.

Voltron. Or GoLion if you're a purist; either way its a show with lackluster animation and awful plodding dialogue & stories.

And while I'm too old to consider it "nostalgic," I fucking hate Spongebob Squarepants and wish it would die a horrible death.

Cities of Gold.

I loved the theme tune but that is about it.

What worries me is most of the cartoons being mentioned didn't come out until I was in my teens .... it makes me feel old.

Absolutely anything made by Hanna Barbera.

Absolutely anything.
Yeaah ><

I also boggle at the thought that anyone could find 90's Nickelodeon better than things like Thundercats, Transformers and Defenders of the Earth or even the 90's Batman cartoons by Paul Dini. The animation of things like Hey Arnold, Rugrats and Doug is terrible for a start.

I honestly don't like most of the shows of my youth. Most of the 90s Nick shows (Doug, Rocko, Ren & Stimpy) I really didn't care for then. The only Nick show I remember liking is the Angry Beavers, and that was only kinda. I liked Cartoon Network a lot more, but even then, Cow and Chicken wasn't great and Dexter's Lab was hit or miss. I loved X-men and Spiderman, but Batman was only alright and TMNT wasn't great.

I didn't have cable until the 00s, so I wasn't inundated with the stuff that most people seem nostalgic for. I went into the woods and hit trees with sticks instead of watching TV. My childhood was fun

Now that I think about it, I never liked Rokko's Modern Life either. It was just...dumb.
Rockos modern life might be silly, but it is anything but dumb. It was a master class in how to insert adult humour into a kids show and get away with it. The chokey chicken restaurant anyone? Although I am still a big fan of absurd and gross out humour so shows like that work for me.

O/T I watched a lot of scooby doo growing up, but I can't remember why. I don't remember being entralled by any of it's 'mysteries.' The show was just kinda dull and repetitive.

My god. That was awesome. Living in Northern Ireland, I'll have you know that that was 100% accurate!

I used to sit through Doug and Rugrats on Sunday mornings while I waited for the awesome Ren and Stimpy to come on, because that's just what you did before the internet was invented.

I was rivetted by Cities of Gold and Ulysses.
Watched Battle Of The Planets again and while I absolutely loved it as a kid, 7-Zark-7 makes me want to punch the screen as an adult. I found out that he was added for Western audiences so the censors could strip out some of the more graphic violence.
