I'm sure a lot of people do and I like them, that way I get cheap used games. I always end up replaying the shit out of my games, I like to do everything in them. Once I beat it I love doing a new game+ and seeing how strong my character/s have gotten and if there are any things I missed or am now only able to do at a higher level.

I have at least 10 games on my to do list that I really should play through. I can't be bothered to go back and play games I have already finished, though I want to play so many titles again.

Ive developed into a narrative centric gamer over the years. VERY few games can I play more than once, once I have completed them. Ill occasionally play FF1, FF3, Xenogears over, but for honest to god replays, its rare.

I think I would likely be able to do it with either of the Souls games, given that its not all that narrative centric, but the gameplay is that visceral.
This is mostly how I feel as well. I play for the story and I don't like being told the same story twice. I've played through all the Mass Effects exactly once, my one friend on the other hand has about 9 fully leveled characters through all the games.

For me it's a case of either I never even finish the game or I can play though it multiple times without losing too much interest. That second part can be more or less true depending on the game and whether or not I have a couple of friends willing to play it with me.

I'm very much a "one and done" gamer myself. I can do with returning to a game for DLC missions or whatever, but I almost never start a new game. I keep all of my games though, in case a friend wants to play or I eventually want to replay.

Off the top of my head, the only games in my 100+ that I've replayed are Kingdom Hearts (the entire series), the Sly trilogy, the original Spyro trilogy, Jak II and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The only one I've replayed multiple times (100% each time) is the Spyro trilogy. I'm not counting games wherein replaying is how one progresses, such as The Binding of Isaac.

Maybe you just haven't found a game that grips you and never lets go, like Spyro does for me.

As long as there are trophies/achievements left to get I can play a game over again, but once I have them all(or as many as I cba to get) I can't play the game again. Feels like a waste of time to me.

I hate trophy addiction.

Yeah, pretty much this.
Even games which have no replay value get a second playthrough from me more often than not.

I lack the time to play games through twice anymore, and it makes me sad to no end because there's quite a few games I would still be willing to play through again. I want to beat the Starcraft 2 campaign again. I never got to beating Diablo 3 on Nightmare with my demon hunter. I also want to play Majora's mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess again. I still havn't even beaten Skyward sword, which is a damn shame.

I did actually buy a 3DS recently and beat Ocarina of time for the.. I don't know, tenth time?.. Worth it. These are only a few mentions, really. Zelda games are the games I replay the most. I only beat Majora's mask once though, because I really hated that scary Eel pit of doom. I was a kid with In game Hydrophobia back then D: I don't even know how I pulled myself through any water temples back in those days. Hell, triggering a giant octopus in Windwaker made me turn off the console and run away in fear once.

These arn't the only games I'd like to play again, but Zelda is definetly prominent when it comes to replayability for me. So I don't really share the OP's affliction.

Nowadays, I find it difficult to replay a game. I just don't like the idea of replaying content I've already experienced, no matter how enjoyable that content was. I'd much rather spend my time on new challenges and new stories.

I can't think of a single game (other than strategy or sports games) that I have ever played more than once. Over the last 3 or 4 years I have been pretty good at finishing games, and once the end credits roll I am done.

I did try and play the DLC after Dragon Age: Origins, but couldn't be bothered. And I never bothered playing any DLC from any of the Mass Effect games (I have finished all 3) or even Red Dead Redemption. (and I LOVED that game)

I am in the last few hours of The Witcher 2, and I know that I could definitely re-play this game, but I know I definitely won't.

Generally play through games multiple times.
If not back to back, I usually come back to the favorites more than once.

I am quite the opposite. If a game is good enough to make me play it right through to the end, I'll usually come back to it from time to time. If I don't play a game for a second time, most likely I didn't even finish it at first. :p

I'm somewhat the same, though it depends on the game. Most games really aren't that replayable, and after one playthrough there's no reason to do so again. Yeah, I enjoyed it the first time, but trying to replay it a second to me would be like starting the tutorial, then constantly restarting it so its the only level you play. Doesn't matter how good the tutorial was, or how fun the first time - eventually it gets old. For me, that's after the first time for 90% of games.

If I like a game I will (eventually) replay it.

The only aversion to this is Spec Ops: The Line, I don't know if I ever want to dive into that particularly depressing campaign.

I only buy new games rarely, so I have to have replay value out of them. It's actual something I factor into every purchase. If I don't see myself able to go back and replay it then I probably won't buy. This included my initial resistance to Dragon Age, my ongoing lack of interest in CoD and MW, and why I ignored Gears of War after I bought the first one for £5 in a bargain bin.

Something like Max Payne I can play again and again, because it feels very organic to me. Although I may be running down a long linear corridor shooting at dudes, there's about eight different ways I can shoot those dudes. In Gears of War I take the same cover, shoot the same sequence of enemies, and use the sameweapons every time. It just ain't fun.

I played through the whole of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind at least 20 times, probably more. Each playthrough is hundreds of hours.
And I played through The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask at least ten times...
Among other games.

So yes. I replay often, very often.

Playing a game through twice is stealing from the games industry! Just think of all those dollars that could be spent on DLC and other games if selfish folk didn't play through their games a second time.
You, sir, are a hero.

(Also, I sometimes play a game through a few times, notably Deus Ex and that devilish FF7, but mostly I'm a once-through kinda guy.)

If there's no replay value, why are you playing it?
