I myself find action symmetry to be a habit of mine, I also avoid walking acros certain lines made by patterns and I act out my thoughts, sometimes even voicing them out loud. I also make over-exaggerated quizzial looks when I am pondering something.Satis said:If I do something on one side of my body I have to do the same thing on the other side.
For example if I rup my teeth together on the left side I have to rube them on the right.
It really sucks when I loose count of these things because then I freak out and feel like if I dont get it right im gonna die.
I might have said too much.
You do that, too? Well, geez, I thought I was alone on that one. That's a huge load off my mind.War Penguin said:I tap/grind my teeth in the beat of the song that's currently stuck in my head. I barely notice that I do it but I think it annoys and confuses people. Does that count?
I do this also, and I bite my fingernails. Especially my parents were quite annoyed by this. My poor nails have suffered so much during my school years...Though I don't really do this much anymore as I'm not studying anywhere right now. No school, no stress.Mordwyl said:I've been nibbling the skin off my fingers when nervous or stressed for over a decade now.
Although I haven't been into serious trouble because I crack my knuckles, several people have pointed out to me that I will face horrible pain when I'm old because the bones in my fingers will be so fragile. I now have very flexible fingers because I bended them a lot. I suppose I will regret it later...Slim Reaper10 said:i also crack my knuckles alot. one time i did it so much that my teach almost kicked me out of class.
Hey, I do that too! At least the stairs at home. Others, not so much. I don't know why either. It confuses me. When I pay attention and "walk" up the stairs, it feels slow and awkward.JemJar said:Sadly I'm pretty normal too. Ooooh, but I always run up stairs - I don't really know why.
Unless I'm walking with someone or going more than two floors I run. But yes, walking up the feels wrong. The King And His Fool said:Hey, I do that too! At least the stairs at home.
