What game universe would you prefer to be in?

Definatly not Oblivion or Fallout, in either of those games the NPC's are active enough (moreso in Oblivion) that eventually many will die of their own accord. I can't count the number of times I've found the corpses of villagers from TESIV miles from their home towns, laying in a shrub.

Maybe a Final Fantasy game? They never go anywhere, they get strangers to do their work for them, and even if there is some overhanging apocolypse some guy/girl with weird hair will always put a stop to it.
