Not much ammo left now. Need to save bullets. Need to be careful. Every shot must count.

maybe one of you will like this idea on fallout newvegas on the start of every dlc I just put all the items on a storage and go naked i wont use any thing from the normal game so for exaple before going to old world blues i stripped myself from everything i could escept the rebreather becasue its a quest item and only use during the dlc things that i get there the trycky part is on the armor becasue at the start of owb you just get a patient gown and the lobotomites takes a good amount of health.

Ps:sorry for the bad english

Metro 2033. That is all.
End of thread.

Metro 2033 is brilliant as it never feels cheap when you run out of ammo, it makes you more careful about conserving supplies.

I've been in that situation in all of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games plenty of times. I've been low on ammo, my armor was shot up, my weapon was near completely broken, and I was at near max carrying capacity.

That's when the bloodsuckers came...

Resident Evil is guilty of this and is the reason why I stop playing Resi 4. I mean I had so little ammo left and my last and only saved point was before fighting that boss in that cage bridge thing. Do you honestly expect me to take down that boss with just his knife? Nope.

I hate that in games. Because what happens is I absolutely hoard ammo/healing items, I end up not enjoying the game that much because of it, and then in the end I wind up with far too much ammo/healing because I misjudged how much I'd need vs. how much more I'd get.

Especially in games where you don't have much of a melee option (like in the RE games.)

Knifing/kicking in RE4 sucks.

I'll never forget what my father told me on my eighth birthday. Sometimes all you have is a bullet and a prayer, don't miss. From Red Faction Guerrilla

OT: Played through Skyrim once as an archer, just to see how broken it could get as a stealth/archer. Walked my way up to the dragon wall where you get throw Voice shout. Killed the dragon that sleeps near there with a few Orc, Eleven, and Ancient Nord arrows. Dragon priest pops up after I get the Shout, and I deicide to kill him. The rest of my Ancient Nord arrows, all of my steel arrows, and most of my iron arrows later, I get a funny mask from his body.

Any time in Fallout: New Vegas when i decided that living wasn't fun. Which basically means me assaulting either Dead wind caverns or the the Deathclaw pride at the southeastern corner of the map. Going into either of these places, you can NEVER have too much ammo.

Yeah, that's happened. I was playing CoD zombies on round 23 or 24. Everyone else was dead, there were billions of the whining dead left (I call them that cause they make annoying whiny noises) and I had no ammo for both my guns. as a result, I died instantly, which my team in turn punished me for by ragequitting. I mean all of them, all ragequited, all at once.

Oddly enough I found it happened somewhat frequently in Transformers: War for Cyberton. Depending on the character chosen and the weapon loadout it was entirely possible to find yourself staring down the barrel of a full blown firefight with nothing but your melee weapon to keep you in the game.

I always tend to run low at the part in Resident Evil 4 when you're trapped in that 2 story house and the dudes bust through the windows with ladders & stuff. Eventually you lose the downstairs and have to retreat upstairs... oh man I love that part.
