Not perfect, but still my favorite.

Title kind of describes it.
What's a game where you can fully admit its flaws? You can see why people wouldn't love it, why some might even hate it, you know its not perfect, but its still one of your favorites, or your most favorite.
Which game is that to you? What are some flaws or things that you don't like about it? Why is it still your favorite?

Mine is Mass Effect 1, I'll fully admit that the Mako sections are kind of boring and tedious, and a lot of the micro managing is painful to get through, and the shooting isn't as tightened up as ME2; but the story, the characters and the pacing, I have not found a game that does any of those things better than ME1 (in my opinion, of course)

Infamous.

I get that people dislike the setting and the characters, but the fantastic action and smooth gameplay completely makes up for it.

Both Mass Effect games, the first for it's tedious inventory, the second for not having one.
I personally loved the Mako but that's a sidenote

Fallout 3, let's just say it's not the most stable game out there.

Super Smash Bros. Perhaps im full of nostalgia from playing the original with my cousin as kids and having an amazing time, but despite its many obvious flaws i could play that game for hours on end. Each fight seems completely different every time and u have tonnes of characters to choose from.

That and it doesnt take its self seriously, its just a good laugh

Silent Hill. Any and all. Although the more recent ones aren't really my 'favourite'.

Morrowind:
I get that people don't like wandering around the wilderness when you get lost, and the cliff racers are FUCKING IRRITATING, and it takes a little while to get into, but when you do, it's absolutely amazing, and compared to Oblivion, which I played for about 3 days, it's so much better. The story was written brilliantly, the characters felt like actual people, and not just things to beat up or pickpocket (which I did anyways), and the environment was just beautiful.
This was on the XBox, so the PC version would be mind-blowing.

Dragon Age. It would have been so nice as an open world rather than a bunch of instances.

ME2. So many boring parts yet I'm still waiting with anticipation for ME3.

Don't keep me waiting Bioware!

Legend of Dragoon. Yeah it had goofy dialogue and leveling was kind of a *****, but I do love it so.

Fallen Earth.

It's not the most polished MMO out there. The enemy AI is almost non-existent in places and the combat system is in constant need of reworking.

But none of that matters, because it feels like it was made by people and not by a corporate committee, and the atmosphere is unequalled by just about any other game I've ever played. Whether I'm running through a mutant infested power station hoping I've brought enough ammo to get me out alive, or just taking a long ride through the wasteland it doesn't feel like a game world, it feels like a real place. And the sunsets are beautiful.

Morrowind, Prototype come to mind at the moment. They have their flaws that some people might not be able to get over, but to me, Morrowind is my number one game (in relative terms) and Prototype's gameplay is so fucking awesome I can easily find it in my heart to ignore the hell out of everything else that's absolutely awful about it.

Half-life and portal, Half-life due to its restricted playthrough and Portla for being short

Fallout New Vegas. Some graphical glitches and some very inconvenient crash times (Thank god I mash quick save) get very annoying after awhile but all is forgiven with the much improved morality system.

Morrowind. The gameplay was a bit lackluster and the UI was awful, but to this day it's my favorite game ever. It was so immersive and expansive, and I for one thought the story was very well told.

PoP: The Forgotten Sands. The story isn't as good as the sands of time, I'm not particularly fond of the cookie-cutter enemies, but damn it, it's the most fun I've had with a game since LittleBigPlanet!

Gotcha Force

Sure the game is repeatitive, had horrible voices dialogue (You won't believe how many "mmmmmmm" it had) and it was some what quite kiddy (probably the main reason why people were put off from it).

However the game had awesome soundtrack, gameplay, some good mech designs and it was addictive (it sort of like pokemon were you had to collect them all)
