So in my senior year of middle school I wrote a newspaper article about a bunch of movies that were eventually going to be made. This was 5 years ago.
It included Indiana Jones 4. A long wait, and it was spoiled for me a few days before I saw it, taking away whatever enjoyment I could. ... not happy.
Jurrasic park 4. I think its cancelled... but I don't want it to be cancelled. Please don't be cancelled.
Wolverine, also a very long wait. It was ok.
FF2. Ok, this came out not too long after the article, but the articles I heard of at the time were saying that puppetmaster was going to be in it.
Magneto. I just knew it as a magneto movie, which i now know is X-men first class.
I've been waiting for this movie for five years??!! Holy hell, I mean, five years. Time flies...
And Borderlands. I re-read the gameinformer article a hundred million times and showed it to all my friends a hundred times: the realistic graphics with interesting monster designs, promise of interesting randomly generated areas you'd have to cross on your vehicle with the giant ants trying to knock you off so they can eat you alive... and a STORY!
I like Borderlands, but it can never, ever compare to the expectations I had for it. I basically waited two years, and got the game the first day it came out, however I wouldn't have an xbox for another few weeks since it was promised as a gift for me.
By the time I got it, most of my friends had already beaten it. And I had no intention of playing with a bunch of people who were going to lead me by the ear the whole time, I wanted to experience it for myself. I tried to do all the missions, and it was too easy, except for the stupid find all the parts of a gun. I like hard games. Easy was not wanted.
Having more fun on my second playthrough, but still, can't compare.
